We had no idea what we were getting into, but they assured us and told us everything we needed to know to feel confident that we'd be able to make the trip there and back. They make the process so easy every step of the way. This experience is a MUST for anyone interested in nature. My daughter and I did this together and I will never forget it. It took teamwork, communication, a sense of adventure, and a willingness to go with the flow--all things that add up to some serious bonding. We'll cherish this experience for the rest of our lives!

I'll say the customer service at the shop was amazing; REALLY nice girls. We asked if we could take…read moreour boards there. She said yes but the benefit of using them was they carried the boards down and up a steep hill. We were there on Saturday April 25th. So we rented two paddle boards and she warned us about the winds. It was like $155. She was nice so we went for it. We get to the site and are waiting around. They haven't even taken the boards off the truck, but we were fine waiting. Layla finally made it up the HILL and had 2 boards taken off the truck and laid on the ground. I asked if any of the MANY men who were there and carrying kayaks down, was going to carry them down. She said no, you carry them. And that hill was STEEP. I figured meh, okay. I was annoyed since we were told they'd be ready for us at the bottom. Layla carried my paddle. Once I saw the hill, I was even more annoyed but I already paid $155 plus $30 entry to the lake. When we got to the bottom, she mentioned when we got back I had to carry it back up. I said I'm not doing that. lol. She held my leash so I could climb on my board. Not an easy task where we were. The paddle boarding was rough but we knew that, the girls at the office warned us. 5 miles later we returned. I STRUGGLED getting off the board and trying to haul it up by myself, my body was shaking and I was visibly exhausted. A young man who worked for this place, WATCHED me struggle. Asked how it was, I said it sucked. He mentioned me carrying the board up that steep hill, while I was shaking from exhaustion and out of breath, and I said "I'm not doing that" and he replied with "why is it heavy?" I did carry my life jacket and paddle...but after that comment I REALLY didn't want to. Layla gave me a water at the top and said to take a breath, I was breathing very heavy. I'd say don't rent paddle boards. You will have to carry them up and down the hill and will get no assistance getting off the board either. But they did carry the kayaks and help those people who also paid like we did, in and out of the kayaks. So maybe rent those and not the paddle boards.

If we hadn't come so close to closing (which they so graciously were amenable to that day... sorry!) I would have been able to try more on and as a consequence take more home. Home is aways away from Page otherwise I'd already be back. Kimberly is also great at picking things out and am I crazy or did she learn our taste in less than an hour?. Is she a stylist? Walked away with a BAG. Shocked I got such quality clothes. My total bill was less than $100 like... HOW?? Some pieces are obviously way better quality than others, but even those were cheap (I got two amazing dresses less than $15) and they obviously have a sliding scale. This place is family run but looks so well put together! Kimberly told us how the clothes were sourced (Macys, ASOS, Target etc liquidation) and honestly Im shocked that they still had SO much cute stuff on display and a good variety of sizes. She was so nice too!! Kudos to the family curating and presenting! Apparently they do Facebook live to sell sometimes. Im not on Facebook but I did go follow them. Hopefully they do tiktok or Instagram OOTD/lives in the future since I think they'd do well there. Seemingly not enough followers but I can't find a link to anything other than FB.

Called Rob from Surf Lake Powell and he was incredibly helpful. He spent time on the phone with us and several text messages back and forth. After we got off the lake, Rob took a look at the prop and wouldn't sell us a new prop. He had one in stock and easily could have just told us we needed a new propeller but he examined the shaft and rudder and determined we might be able to get the prop fixed back home in SLC with the Prop Doc instead. A+ customer service and honesty. Don't even try calling the other shops in town!
