I visited here for dinner, it's recently opened up in Shirley and my brother had been and told me they had lots of vegetarian options so i thought i ought to check it out.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, and went that little bit extra in their customer service.
The decor was really interesting there was a sort of fusion between modern restaurant and old fashioned cafe. We were seated in the 'book corner' and it felt like i was on the set of Harry Potter or something, it was realluy nice and cosy.
Me and a friend shared the veggie breakfast, as we were told the breakfast's are the biggest plates they do....yes breakfast at 8pm, when is not a good time to have a good ol fry up? It was alot of food for one person, so i'm glad we shared, they also kindly put all of the items with egg in it on a separate plate so as to not contaminate the rest of it, as i dont eat egg.
The vegan ginger and dark chocolate tart was lovely but very rich! I'm glad I ordered a scoop of ice cream to go with it. I quite like dark chocolate as it's not too sweet but friend found it to be very bitter.
All in all I would recommend it, and will be visiting again! read more
