My wife will have surgery Friday and a few days ago the doctor said she must remove all of her rings, including one she had not taken off for years because of severe arthritis. We tried every remedy, cold, oil, WD40 and dental floss, but nothing worked. Already anxious about the surgery, this problem just seemed to be too much. Out of desperation, I suggested trying a jeweler and Hefez came up on Yelp. They answered my call, understood and sympathized with our problem and arranged a convenient time. On arrival Mr. Hefez (I assume he is the eponymous owner) found the right, obscure tool and spent 20 minutes patiently sawing off my wife's ring. He gathered and bagged for us the dust and a tiny diamond chip that fell off along with the ring. We are still worried about the surgery, but Hefez took an unnecessary stress off our shoulders. We are tremendously grateful. The store itself seemed to be a fine, local,family business, but what stood out to my wife and me was the warmth, care and thoughtfulness of the people working there.
