And while nothing about going to the dentist is comfortable, I at least felt confident that while here, my teeth were being treated well, I wasn't getting scammed out of my money, and they truly cared about me...well, my mouth, at least. :) The assistants were wonderful and sweet, and the dentist actually surprised me with his "next-door neighbor" demeanor. A nice guy. I ended up getting my teeth cleaned but then went back and got them to replace a cap on a chipped tooth. They did a fantastic job and really paid attention to detail. I've already recommended them to friends and I certainly recommend them to anyone who asks.

The hygienist is excellent, although I highly would NOT RECOMMEND this dentistry for anything other than simple cleanings. This place is very costly and the doctors don't know what they're doing or they don't care. The doctor rushed through my fill in, drilling most of my healthy tooth away, leaving me in pain worst then before I got a fill in. A week later i had to come back for the same problem, instead of observing it he went in and drilled more of my tooth away. Saying it was my bite, the problem is it's very sensitive I can't chew or eat anything on that tooth. The procedure he performed didn't fixed the problem but made it worst instead. I ONLY know this because I got a second opinion from a different dentistry. Now I have to find a different dentistry to fix the same problem when this doctor couldn't do it right the first time, nor the second. I have had countless fill in but none have ever been this bad. I even asked about removing the tooth and was repeatedly dismissed. Finally, I sought a second opinion. Turns out the tooth was fractured and infected all along and should have been pulled from the beginning. Now I'm dealing with an abscess and a much bigger problem than I started with. Those were some of the many questions lurking inside my head when I needed to find a new dentist. I honestly went to one just a few blocks from this office a week or two before coming here. I had my cleaning there and heard some rude comments by the dentist (not addressed to myself but to another patient). Still, that comment made me not want to go back there. Luckily, I searched around, found this place and I've been happy since! I started seeing Dr. Ahmad-Majeed in September initially for a second opinion about all the work my new/former dentist wanted to do after meeting for the first time. I explained to her my fear of going to the dentist and that if it's true that we truly do need to replace several fillings that I would appreciate it if we do it at a pace I am comfortable with. I also had a crown that supposedly needed replacing prior to coming here which she then confirmed to be correct but again, she let me choose when I would be comfortable enough to get the work done. She even offered some anxiety medication but I refused since my anxiety level is really not that unmanageable. She started doing some of the dental work that needed done from around October and finished everything by November. I know it sounds like a lot but they were 3 fillings that needed redone and a new crown. The procedures were spaced out nicely though so I didn't feel too anxious during every visit. The procedures went smoothly and Dr. Ahmad-Majeed had always made sure that I was comfortable during them and wasn't in any unbearable pain. She willingly gave me breaks when I needed them especially when she was working on my fillings. I came back today to get my 6-months cleaning and met Carolyn who is a dental hygienist at the office. She was also very friendly and kept asking me if I was doing okay throughout the cleaning process. I had one area which was sensitive and she quickly became aware of it from my wincing. She also explained why I have sensitivity issue on that area and offered some ways to alleviate the issue. Overall, I like this dental office and I've had a wonderful experience here. I know dental work can never truly be a wonderful experience but it can be made better by the attitude of the people doing the work. In this case, it's very true for me!

My experience? Day 1 Removed 16 teeth and was fitted with full temporary implants. All my decision, could have gone partial, but knew what the future held and went the full Monty. Uppers and Lowers. 1 month evaluation and progress, evaluate healing and gums, your gums shrink after healing, leaving a void between your temps and gums. Water pick is mandatory. 2 months Removed temps, repaired them from grinding (my fault) didn't have my bite guard in. Then they templated my healed gums for permanent teeth. reinstall repaired temps. No charge for repair. 3.5 months return to get my permanent implants. was given the molds made for my process and procedure. Clear choice St Louis was the right providers for me. Considerably more expensive than the "Las Vegas" option but some things are not worth bargain shopping for. Or you could say that quality has a price. Financially and emotionally. Even their own oral surgeon advised surgery, bone, hygiene were excellent. Prosthetic was problem. May be putting too much pressure on salivary glands. He would talk to Prosthetic team and they would call me. Didn't hear anything and in extreme pain so went to office Monday without appointment requesting Prosthetic removal. Advised no. Told them i wasn't leaving until they were removed. Too much pain. After an hour or so. They were removed. I once again advised lowers and uppers were loose. The assistant confirmed uppers loose but didn't touch lowers. Put on caps, I left but no one set up time to discuss the bad Prosthetic. They simply sent letter dumping me as a patient because they weren't going to fix the defective Prosthetic that I paid $54000 for, and do you think they are going to refund the .money since they didn't meet their obligation? Just send me elsewhere so I can pay more money to fix their screw-up! My mouth is so sore I can't eat, drink nor talk. Pain pills no longer help. Unable to post picture but my mouth is so badly injured, the other dentist can't do anything for 3-4 weeks so mouth can heal. Again, cannot post picture of letter dated July 6 sent from Dr Pinkston advising they will no longer be my dental provider. Been complaining since early 2025 but they never fixed problem. Just push me off to another company. Don't care about their patients. Only the money. I just read Aspen Dental who owns Choice Care is about to go bankrupt.
