Once the short show at Ollivanders is over, you will be directed towards Dervish and Banges. If you do not want to watch the show, you can enter this store from the back. It's here where you will find Spectrespecs, Omnioculars, The Monster Book of Monsters, Golden Snitches, Hogwarts school uniforms, and so much more. Don't forget to check out the Nimbus 2001 and the Firebolt!

Dervish and Banges is the connecting shop to Ollivander's Wand Shop. Essentially, you can choose to watch the wand ceremony in Ollivander's and the mosey into Dervish and Banges or you can line up near the Dragon Challenge to enter the store directly. For Harry Potter merchandise, Dervish and Banges has a lot of the stuff you won't find elsewhere. Just as after you ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and the store has a number of neat items, so too does Dervish and Banges have some cool stuff that you need to come to this particular shop to get. That mostly includes Quidditch stuff like Quaffle balls, Golden Snitches ($15), Bludger Bat and Ball sets, and even brooms! Best of all, Dervish and Banges is the ultimate opportunity for photo ops with wizard clothes. I'll save you the photos of me and Camellia C. totally decked out in wizard regalia but just know that you can try on different wizard robes ($99.95, but lined with fleece), scarves, ties, and even pointy witch and wizard hats. They even have a cage for the Book of Monsters and you can even take home your very own toy Book of Monsters. I saw some other things including sneakoscopes and even a faux Triwizard Cup too. For the Harry Potter enthusiast, this place is great...pricey...but cool nonetheless.

This is one of several novelty shops located inside IOA's Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Magical items and Quidditch supplies are its specialties. Like almost everything else at WWoHP, it is beautiful inside, and usually packed. Insider tip: The team members inside Dervish and Banges are supposed to be wizarding professors at Hogwarts. That's why their costumes consist of the school's signature gown and cap.

Hands down the best shop in Hogsmeade. You can search for a wand up near the Owl Post, or you can pick up gear in the back for your favorite house at Hogwarts. The Quibbler is available near the tills. If you buy any postcards, you can have them stamped with the official Hogsmeade seal just outside the shop. You should also be on the lookout for the Monster Book of Monsters. Sometimes it gets out.

Budget 45 minutes to wait in line just to buy a wand.

The wand store was the only item on my "Universal bucket list." It was fun chatting with people from all over the country in line. The wait was much easier to tolerate than getting in the park. There is a cute demonstration in the wand area but if you don't mind skipping a few magic tricks, just go into the store and avoid the wait. You can get wands in several areas of the park. Pricey!

-The only downside I felt was the wait for Olllivanders. The entire presentation took maybe 5 minutes but the wait was 25 mins. -The Owl Shop/Dervish&Banges shop was PACKED. The placement of the wands is not the best because of people walking through and being unable to check out all the wands. I did however get a wand that I liked. Sirius Black :D -If you have the premium annual pass, you will get 20% merchandise and that includes wands! The wants are normally $34 after tax. We paid ~$25 each -Try on the robes and take photos. Check out the photos! The robes are of decent quality and expected when the price tag is at $111.99. I checked Amazon and there were higher quality robes for around $145-200. -Get there early so you actually have room to move around (we went right at 9am). -Heads up, Ollivanders does NOT carry every wand

The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better. While we wish they sold more masks and costume accessories, we were pleasantly surprised by how many cool items they did have. The store is very clean and well-organized. Highlights included the giant Gremlins and Pokémon vending machine, though sadly it was out of order, it was still fun to see! We also noticed a neat speakeasy out back that we definitely want to check out next time. Overall, this is a great spot for any nerd, collector, or cosplayer. They also had a nice selection of comics. My main collecting focus right now is old Mattel Secret Wars figures, while I didn't see any of those the Horror Figure section caught my eye. We ended up leaving with a set of Halloween 3 Toony Terrors and 2 of the 2012 Figures Toy Company reproduction Mego Mad Monster figures. All in all a solid shop we'll stop at whenever we're in town.

When we pulled into the parking lot and saw how small the store was, we were pretty disappointed. However, we had fun browsing the small selection they had. Posters, figurines, keychains, stickers, wall art, etc. There was merchandise from older anime like inuyasha, death note, DBZ, etc and of course newer ones like demonslayer. I have to admit selection was limited, though the employee did tell us they could order out of stock items for us (but we aren't local :(). What is truly special about this shop is the friendly community feel. There is artwork for sale (I assume) from local artists with many different skill levels and styles. My boyfriend ended up getting a cute Emilia (re zero) figuarts figurine which was nice quality. It happened to be the day before my friend's and my birthday (we are not twins lol) and once she learned this, the employee did this cute celebration, playing a prerecorded song by the employees (?). It was a little bit cringe but 100% wholesome. They also gave us each a choice of a keychain as a birthday gift! Even after we said we were flying out of Orlando that day. I rarely see such good will these days and it was a wonderful surprise. I would stop by if I'm ever in the area again.
