I started off with two pounds spicy and believe me when I say they were spicy. If you can handle the heat get it. It'll have your noise running and lips burning. The crawfish were decently sized, perfectly boiled and the spice was on point! Really liked the extra kick of the dipping sauce. These were some of the best crawfish I've had. Bernard's has the best shrimp poboy that I have ever eaten and I've had poboys in New Orleans. It was loaded with good sized shrimp, the bread was fresh and lightly toasted and the pepper jack cheese was melted really nice. There is a picture of Bernard's boudin sausage on the side of the trailer and I believe that next time I am in town I will be ordering some if I can decide which one to try. Give Bernard's a chance next time you are in the mood for real Creole cooking. You'll be supporting a small business as well as supporting a couple military veterans.
