I was very nervous since I had not been to the dentist in a while and because I did not yet have dental insurance. I was running about 15 minutes late because it was further away then expected and I got stuck at work. They let me back and did not give me a hard time about this at all. The dentist I saw was the son of Dr. Wright. He was super personable and helped me be at ease. He numbed me up so well that I had no pain during the procedure and did not even have to take any pain meds after. The best part was he didn't even charge me full price, he only charged me what people normally have to pay out of pocket after their insurance pays their portion. Naturally after I got insurance I didn't hesitate on who to go back to when I needed the rest of them pulled and a cleaning. The cleaning I needed was more intense since I hadn't been for one in a while. They contacted my insurance while I was with the hygienist and let me know what part was covered and exactly how much to expect to pay out of pocket. When I came in to do the procedure I again felt no pain before or after and this time it was Dr Wright and a hygienist! Dr Wright even took some money off because I had had a bad day (someone hit my car and tried to take off). The 3 times I have been there have been fantastic. My mouth was in excruciating pain for months after having the crown done, and took multiple visits of them adjusting it before I could eat without pain. That tooth still gives me trouble years later. Also, they are CONSTANTLY trying to sell you on all sorts of add-ons. Every visit, they would tell me there was something wrong with my teeth and that I needed to purchase this or that service or ortho or gismo (that inevitably wasn't covered by insurance) or else my teeth would be irreversibly ruined. After moving on to a different practice, other dentists have looked at my teeth and reassured my that things are fine and I don't need all the up-sells that the Turner folks were pushing every time I stepped in their office.

Despite having no symptoms--no inflammation, bleeding, or recession--Dr. Ahmed Mitul diagnosed him with "severe gum disease" and recommended a costly deep cleaning not covered by insurance. As someone with a professional dental background, I advised him to seek a second opinion. A reputable local dentist later confirmed he had no signs of gum disease. When my husband called to cancel the deep cleaning, the receptionist was rude and hung up on him. We've since found similar stories in older Google reviews. Based on our experience, we believe this practice may be using questionable diagnostic practices to upsell unnecessary procedures.

In the waiting room they have a little fridge stocked with all kinds of drinks, a kids room with a video game console and laptops for you to use. In the actual rooms they have leather massaging chairs and tvs that have a pretty decent selection of channels. I love their hygienist assistant, Joey, she's very friendly and funny. All the staff their are great though. Dr. Mulzer is really nice. They used to be very close to my house and even though now they're almost 30 minutes away, I think it's completely worth it.

I started with them less than a year ago with perfectly healthy teeth…read more I was told that I needed 2 crowns and when I got the second crown due to MILD sensitivity (which should have been corrected with a filling) they drilled my tooth too far down and now I need a ROOT CANAL!! I did NOT need one before my appointment but now after 2 months of terrible pain and a bite adjustment, I'm told I need a root canal, to which I have to pay for! They also told my husband he needed a deep clean on his gums and we had to pay $500 out of pocket for the first appointment and who knows what the second "treatment" would cost. Oh and now I supposedly need a THIRD crown but that was just brought up to me at my last cleaning. This place is bogus so if you want to spend every dime you have on a dentist, this is the place because if you didn't need work before you go, they will make sure you need it after your very first appointment. I would rate them a ZERO if I could! Oh and when you get frustrated about anything Taylor at the front desk will talk to you like garbage! UPDATE: I've gone to a much better dentist now and not only did I need a root canal because my tooth was so bad, they also had to re-do the first crown that Embrace did because there was a gap at the top of the crown. Completely obvious to my new dentist. Since my insurance only pays for 1 crown per tooth every 5 years, it was another $1000 out of pocket to have the crown redone plus the root canal I needed. I found Dr Mulcahy through the desire for change and I am EXTREMELY thankful I did! I had a rather large filling fall out & that is exactly what he fixed, rather expertly I might add! I felt nothing with the numbing shot, not even a pinch. There was some discomfort during the procedure which was caused by the prior dentist getting way too close to the nerve. He put a barrier between the nerve & the filling to try and help with sensitivity. I am giving it a few weeks to see if a root canal will be needed (again since the prior work had been done too close to the nerve). Regardless I am scheduling all future appointments here!!
