In fact, when I lived away from Cincinnati for 5 years I never got a new dentist in the town I was living in. I would just schedule my appointments for when I was back visiting in Cincinnati. He attends dental conferences every year and I am very impressed with his desire to stay current by continuing to learn what is new in the field of dentistry. He will not sell you on things you don't need and you can be sure that is he is offering a type of procedure in his office it has been researched to the fullest extent. Doc is personable, professional and a good person. We recently received a post card in the mail about a food drive his office was spearheading and I thought that was quite nice. Make the drive to Bridgetown! It is worth it.

They repeatedly violated my HIPPA rights. The dentist and his assistants repeatedly asked me…read morepersonal, prying questions that had absolutely nothing to do with the work he was doing on my teeth. He and his staff made me extremely uncomfortable. When I expressed my concern, the dentist became rude and mean in a very patronizing way because I spoke up about it. On a subsequent visit, I arrived a few minutes late wearing a boot because my leg was injured, and the escalator wasn't working that morning in the building his office is located. When I walked in, he gruffly told me to sit down and open my mouth, then jabbed me hard with a needle with no warning to numb my teeth, in what I believed was retaliation, after I politely requested his staff to stop violating my privacy. In prior visits, he informed me what he was going to do. After treating me disrespectfully, he then rudely lectured me on being a few minutes late, that one occasion, like I was a child and not a grown woman, never acknowledging the accessibility issues in his building that morning. His assistant took pictures of my teeth with a polaroid camera and X-rays at my first visit, but later claimed at my second visit, that they delayed that they didn't take pictures or couldn't locate them for my follow- up visit and took the same pictures again. I still wonder to this day, considering how violative they were of my privacy, what they did with the first set of pictures that I absolutely know they took. I should've never returned after that, considering how odd that my pictures disappeared. The first thing the lady did was take pictures of those teeth. I have always had bright white teeth; yet after multiple visits there, I noticed little nicks and stains in my teeth that were not there before I went. Be would sand teeth that he was not working on. I never felt comfortable with that, as I've never had a dentist do that before, which might explain the nicks. That was also the only time in my life where a hygienist cleaned my teeth and the dentist did not come in to check her work on my teeth after she finished. Is that even legal? The dentist also told me about a few of other patients that I had no idea were his patients, before he told me, violating their privacy too. He also repeatedly questioned me about my prior dentists, asking questions that I didn't believe was his business to ask. Ultimately, he became really mean and condescending at my last visit, in a scary way; his personality changed in such a bad way after I requested his office to respect my privacy, that I never went back. That was by far the worst most bizarre dental experience in my life.

All the horror stories I've heard about root canals were not true. Uncomfortable and awkward yes because of the Dr and his assistant with their fingers in your mouth and the tools and gear in your mouth at the same time but not any pain at all. Big difference in awkward and pain. Awkward you can deal with but pain is no fun. This was 2 root canals. I was in and out in 1.5 hours. Back in Dec 2025 was my first visit after originally calling in November and spoke with Josh at front desk. He was warm, reassuring and knowledgeable who booked me in December and assigned me with Dr. Mia Stone. She was , is great. Comforting, gentle touch and very thorough. She did 3 crowns, and a small filling. Prior to all that work I had the deep gum and root cleaning the Scaling and root planing from April Voelker the hygienist there in house. She was also excellent and very gentle with that procedure. These folks are so cool in that they tell you if you feel any pain during any procedure to raise your hand and they will ease off. That is caring for the patient. Not once did I have to raise my hand thru all my procedures. The ladies at the front desk are also great with scheduling, billing and very warm and friendly. Jocelyn, who has moved to the Eastgate office, Ari, and Grace. When you leave a Dentist feeling good that is all anyone can ask for. All the work I needed is my own fault for being negligent over the years. There are others in the office that I did not meet or have work done by but I'm sure they are also very good. They do most work in house like the deep scaling and crowns. They make your new crowns while you wait. Everyone I mentioned above and the entire operation there is 5 Star. AAA+++++

Well on a first visit the work estimate was over $3000.00 that would be billed to insurance. Getting second opinion was a must and going back to the prior practice - no work is needed. The projected work of a crown would be for a back space of a tooth- not visible and not an issue. The other "need" also didn't exist. Actually the end result was that the proposed work would actually cause more problems down the road! Patient beware. How many of the other patients could experience a like issue. What about patients who would blindly trust and not get a second opinion.? Caution !

After being seen here, opted not to return due to racism/discrimination…read more I was seen here and I referred several other coworkers/friends here to be seen also due to the quick appt availability for an initial appt and they accepted our employers insurance(my referral to my coworkers/friends was before my initial visit). Showed up for initial visit and was informed that only X-rays and exam are done at initial visits, then a follow up visit would be scheduled to come back for cleaning/dental work if needed. Asked if X-rays that were recently done at previous dentist office could be used instead of having it repeated. Was told no, they have to do their own X-rays on new patients. At the end of my appt I was told that they are booked up for the next 6months and their protocol is to place pts on a waitlist and call to schedule them when an appt "opens up". They stated that appts open up several times a day and when they have an opening they will call people on the waitlist and offer them the open slot. They stated that the appt will usually be for that same day or the next day and that you have to make sure you answer when called or they will move on to the next person on the waitlist. I informed them that this did not seem feasible for someone who has to work, to be expected to wait by the phone everyday hoping for a call, and then to only give their job a couple hours notice or 1day notice for request off. Then they stated "we have openings everyday so if you miss the first opportunity, you'll still have plenty of other opportunities to get on the schedule, sometimes we can give you up to a 1-2week notice, I'll just make a note of your preference in your chart". This was NOT mentioned until the end of the appt and I was not ok with this. Still, I agreed because at this point I just went through about 20 X-rays, had my mouth violated with 2 different sets of hands/fingers, and paid my copay. (Many of my friends opted out of being seen here after hearing about my initial visit.) EVERY other person of COLOR that I referred(7+people) that still went to their appts, went through this same exact rigmarole. Didn't matter if they needed a cleaning or a cavity filled or a simple paint on fluoride treatment. This was the rigmarole. Then I was alerted by one friend, a Caucasian woman with the same exact insurance as me and the rest of the people of COLOR, that she went to her initial appt and had a completely different experience. Not only was she NEVER told about their "protocol".... This Caucasian woman had her X-rays, exam, and cleaning done in the same visit and was SCHEDULED for two days later to come back for her needed dental work. Then about a week later she needed a cap replaced(non emergency) and was SCHEDULED again for the following week at her time of choice. My caucasian friend wrote her appt down wrong and walked in a day late and was still seen with no wait. Meanwhile, I and the other 7 people of color were still not able to get in for a simple cleaning. This was not the only issues noted. This was just the biggest one for me. We are currently in contact with the Attorney General, Civil rights lawyers, and our insurance company. 0/10 I DO NOT recommend.
