This is amazing given the cost was reasonable and her 20+ years of experience in practice. I'd originally looked at cheap Groupon deals for this treatment but each facility had very mixed reviews with some people getting burned or experiencing dishonest pricing or service. I decided to come here to Yelp to find a location with good reviews. I'd rather pay a tad more for a really reputable facility and get good results. So happy I did! The appointment setting process was a bit different because I never talked to a receptionist but rather left a message and got a call returned that same day (went to my voicemail). I returned that call 45 min later which was by then later in the evening. Their voicemail lets you know you can text, so I sent a text. Got a text the next morning letting me know I could get in that same day. Awesome! I learned that Mary and her husband work together which explains the more relaxed vibe. I prefer this over the big chain locations which typically have high pressure sales. Mary is in no way pushy at all. Her manner is very gentle, kind, thorough and she's extremely knowledgeable. She knew my nervousness because i talked about and said she was an RN and knew what she was doing. I get migraines and I wanted my 11s injected. Instead, she said she needed to inject higher and on my (faint and non problmatic )crows feet to " even it out." SO 600 dollars later, my forehead is frozen DOWN into a permanent frown. My eyelids are now hooded and I have to use prescription eye drops to tighten the skin to improve visibility and reduce irritation. And the 11s are still there. Even though the people are friendly and it seems like a nice place, you are only as good as your last appointment, so I give them a negative 1. And I have to frown with hooded eyes for 4 months now. The worst part is that I trusted her and talked ti her about my fears of bad injections and she did it anyways. It hard not to take it personally. nd also, the "heavy dropped brow" seems to be triggering more migraines. Utter waste of trust and money. Her kindness and professionalism genuinely made my day better. The contrast was striking. The earlier communication felt more like a high school student casually arranging a hangout than a professional spa providing services costing hundreds of dollars per visit. Having dealt with many luxury retailers and high-end service providers, perhaps my expectations are relatively high, but I don't believe basic courtesy and professionalism should be considered exceptional. A sincere apology and a thoughtfully worded message could have easily prevented this entire situation. Instead, one person left me feeling dismissed, while another, who wasn't even responsible, went out of her way to help. That difference in attitude and professionalism speaks volumes. Original Review: I started visiting the Huntington Beach location because the parking was more convenient. Unfortunately, the customer service has been incredibly disappointing. Out of the three appointments I've scheduled at this location, two have been subject to last-minute rescheduling requests just one day before the appointment. What makes this even more frustrating is that they had already sent me multiple confirmation texts beforehand, all of which I responded to promptly. I book my appointments days in advance and arrange my schedule accordingly. Yet, in the middle of the day, just one day before my appointment, I receive casually worded messages such as, "Hi, can you please come at 2 tomorrow?" or even "Never mind." No explanation for why my appointment needs to be changed, no acknowledgment that I booked well in advance, and not even a simple apology for the inconvenience. The lack of professionalism in these messages is astonishing, especially for a business in the spa and wellness industry, where customer service should be a priority. What made the experience even worse was my phone call to the location. The employee I spoke with did not apologize a single time. I asked whether they could make a note on my account to avoid requesting last-minute changes in the future, or whether they would simply prefer that I stop visiting their location altogether. His response? "Oh, I don't have an answer for that." He then immediately asked, "Is there anything else?" When I said no, he simply hung up. No apology, no attempt to resolve the issue, and absolutely no interest in retaining a customer. I have visited many spas over the years, and this is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. The staff's attitude was shockingly dismissive, careless, and unprofessional. It genuinely felt as though I was dealing with employees who had received little to no customer service training and had absolutely no interest in doing their jobs properly.
