I do not recommend this office if you have any form of neurodivergence, PTSD, or C-PTSD. The ONLY cool thing in this office is the fish tank in the lobby. It is very dingy once you get inside and at the very least PA Sherren White, NP Liz Gravel, and office manager Tricia Smith (one of the worst victim blamers I have ever encountered) do not seem trauma informed at all during my experiences with them. PA Sherren White had no problem bringing in a student without letting me know in advance. This is not a teaching hospital! Why was a student there and why was I not asked if it was okay for her to enter before she was inside the room? Sherren White also did not give me all of my hair loss treatment options up front as I requested and as the waver I was asked to sign clearly stated. Sherren White said they usually don't prescribe certain medications to "women of childbearing age". I went to this office for hair loss and do not plan to ever bear children. I wanted to throw up after being called "a woman of childbearing age", how dare she refer to me in that manner and make assumptions about my reproductive plans? Why are my unused womb and non-existent fetus addressed before I am as the PAYING customer and patient in the room right in front of her face? This is extremely sexist behavior and disgustingly assumptive and birth rates are going down not up. It makes way more sense to assume I would never have children than it would to assume I would. This was a cash transaction because it was prp and I still didn't get good service. Liz Gravel burst at least 4 of my veins drawing blood and kept fumbling her tube, losing the needle, and having to poke again. I was nearly passed out and she kept going and tried to blame dehydration even though she did not have steady hands that I saw with my own eyes. There was a medical assistant who put numbing cream in my actual hair instead of my scalp, hair doesn't go numb! Tricia Smith asked me if I told Liz to stop drawing my blood. I said... as I was half conscious??? She wasn't even familiar with the 4 trauma responses (fight, flight, freeze, and fawn) and had almost no hearing comprehension. I tried to explain the concept of victim blaming to her with a metaphor that she took literally and when I tried to clarify she said she didn't want to hear my business. She also said she would send me a refund check for the last session I did not complete and 2-ish weeks passed and she had not sent it. I finally called my credit card company to dispute and only after that did the head physician call and asked me if I wanted the check or the dispute, I said dispute and he still asked me several times if I wanted the check. I told him that is fraud I want my money back now through the dispute and be done with it. I told him the people I interacted with and the combination of actions that caused such a terrible experience and he said they meet medical and psych board standards. I have never heard a professional be so proud of achieving the bare minimum. What do you want mister head physician sir? A participation trophy?? Why would anyone as a customer and patient come to a dingy sexist and frankly dangerously run office for a cash out of pocket cosmetic procedure that this office isn't even financially competitive in? You can do better than this place, I promise. I went back to my last dermatologist and couldn't be happier. This place was not worth the shorter drive at all. read more
