I attempted to contact the practice multiple times to discuss my concerns and seek follow-up care, but I had never received a direct response or a path forward, I was told follow up elsewhere. I felt retaliated against for bringing up my concerns. When I requested my medical records, what I received appeared incomplete and did not seem to include several pre- and post-operative interactions I personally recall. I felt unsupported during a time when I was experiencing complications and needed postoperative guidance. I hope sharing my experience helps other patients ask the right questions and ensures they receive the communication and follow-up they need."

The only star they deserve is for their incredibly kind receptionists. I was referred here after…read moregoing to the Emergency Room; after finally calling them because they hadn't gotten back to me to schedule an appointment- the doctor told me that I would have to live with this limiting cyst on my dominant wrist before they would do anything about it. Apparently the three months I've had it, as well as the numbness in my hand and radiating pain didn't warrant scheduling an outpatient surgery. After telling the doctor that I couldn't wait any longer because I was losing my insurance, she gave me a "I'm not paid to care" look and told me how she was "sorry to hear that." Medical care in America is a joke; this place is the epitome of what it means to be in the 98% of this country who can't afford decent care. I have a small concern compared to others living with chronic conditions and pain, but if they didn't have quality insurance either these doctors would have turned them away too. People should go into medicine because they care about the quality of life their patients have, not whether or not they can squeeze another billable appointment out of us. As for my next step, I'll be attempting the "bible" method for my wrist since these heartless people wouldn't lift a finger to help me. Google what this technique looks like and tell me if you'll step foot in Domino Farms.

Top notch...especially their communications manager, they do excellent work there!read more

I highly recommend Dr. Beil, I am so happy with my results. I do not want to overshare on what I…read morehad done as my experience was personal like many patients. Meeting Dr. Beil I was nervous, i read a lot of reviews on line that you HAVE to be 100% confident and comfortable with your surgeon.. I am not sure how that is possible when you meet with them only for about an hour or two collectively before they cut you open... i am not comfortable with anyone after an hour but maybe that's just my personality... Basically i was super nervous the day of my surgery... However, I saw enough before and after photos I did my research and I was as comfortable I think as I possibly could be before going in. I would say now that I have had the surgery i am 100% confident and comfortable with Dr. Beil. I am a seeing is believing type of girl. I hope this review helps anyone who is also nervous.. or is wondering who their surgeon should be. Dr. Beil is literally amazing, he gave me EXACTLY what i asked for but he didn't over promise me any thing. Has a great bed side manner and was very respectful. I would refer all my friends and family to him. and if i want to get another procedure down the line, i would fly across the country to have him do it. If you have any questions feel free to message me here! Highly Highly recommended. Thanks again CPRS!!!!

As this was my first attempt to visit a plastic surgeon for physical "up-grades," I relied on the…read morerecommendations from some of my established medical professionals. Their medical experiences allowed me to feel comfortable with the one that they all focused on. So Dr. Richard Beil was definitely my choice. The Center for Plastic Reconstructive Surgery is conveniently located on the 5th floor of the Reichert Building in the St. Joseph Hospital campus area (between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti). It was close for me and that's where I headed with my husband accompanying me. My initial appointment was very positive. The staff (receptionist, financial office, nursing personnel and other support employees) are really welcoming, conversant, knowledgeable as they answered my many questions. The waiting room is quiet and orderly. The appointments are kept on-schedule. I had introductions to nursing staff who ushered me to this new world of repair after breast cancer and now to renewals for aging issues. I was really impressed by the teamwork that Dr. Beil's staff displayed; all of them had specific, supportive comments that they each shared about their professional relationship with this doctor. That made me feel at ease, too. When I actually met with Dr. Beil I found him to be very conversant, extremely knowledgeable and analytical about given situations as he offered suggested alternatives for me to consider. He reviewed the various things that he could do, estimated costs, surgery time, healing time, scheduling pre and post op appointments that would be needed. Dr. Beil is also blessed with a sense of humor. I felt comfortable as they encouraged me to call if I needed answers for follow-up questions. On-going communication is very open. My first procedure went very smoothly. My first procedure went very smoothly. My husband and I were elated with the outcome. The post-op appointments were thorough and supportive. The staff recognized me which made me feel really welcomed. Dr. Beil continued to answer the few questions that I had. I would highly recommend anyone who might consider having any reconstructive surgery performed to contact Dr. Beil's office (see paragraph 1). He is a true professional with years of experience with positive outcomes!!!

My partner and I were looking for something very specific when finding a pediatrician for our son…read more My partner actually made a bulleted list of qualifications that the doctor had to have to even be considered. He he printed out that list and brought it with us to the offices -- I thought it would be embarrassed by it, but now I know it showed we meant business! We wanted to find someone who would consult with us and respect our decisions on vaccinations and antibiotics. We wanted to veer on the homeopathic side of care whenever possible. We wanted someone who respected the fact that our son was born at home with a midwife. It was hard to find all of this in a pediatrician, but in a family doctor, Dr. Scheerer was the It man. Dr. Scheerer is accomodating, I don't feel like a sardine in a tin can in his waiting room, he sits with you and really listens to your concerns. He knows his holistics but is also affiliated with St. Joe's, so you get the best of both worlds. He supports breastfeeding. He looks like he was in a rock band once, but has pictures of his family on a slideshow screensaver. Also, since he's a family doctor, he can take care of the whole fam. He sees babies every day, so we felt comfortable to have our son under his care. His staff remembers us and it really feels a lot more inviting than any other doctor I've been to. If you really like flourescent lights, a hospital setting, and a sterile-feeling environment, then he probably isn't for you. His office is in this awesome gigantic purple house near Planned Parenthood.

He is thoughtful, thorough and engaging. His standard of care is among the best I have ever experienced in any of a variety of medical settings.
