She went and got me a corsage as a gift. Deron's has a huge heart. She has done all my dances all my kids dances and proms. She is so amazing we are having her do our wedding in July. I went to pick up a corsage and boutonniere for my son's prom. My jeep started having problems and I was worried. She had her husband come out and diagnose it. He found that I blew my oil pressure regulator not only that he let me store it till the weekend. He also gave me a ride home and helped me tow it to my mechanics. To order flowers through the GIANT online sources, I found hidden charges adding up to almost doubling the order. Feeling overwhelmed and frustrated I searched for a florist near Omak. I found Derina's and called her directly. A real person answered the phone, was extremely helpful, and worked within my budget to design a cheery bouquet. I hired Derina as the florist for my wedding. I thought that all of the planning went smoothly initially. Turns out not. I originally ordered 18 centerpieces, and Derina insisted that I only ordered 15, and would therefore have to charge me an extra $50 for the other three. The whole order was over $500. The day of the wedding arrives, and not only did she short us those extra centerpieces (although she charged us for them) and the ring bearer's boutonniere, but the bridal bouquet was not what I requested. Even though I had sent her numerous photos of the bouquet that I wanted, and she had seen them, apparently she managed to lose them all, and sent me something that was not what I had envisioned or requested. I won't deny that the flowers were beautiful, but they were not what I was expecting. As for the items that we did not receive, there is no excuse for that. She had a form with everything listed out on it. When I order something, and pay that much for it, I expect to receive the whole order, especially for a WEDDING. I admit that I was warned ahead of time that Derina was a little "airheaded" as my source called it, but since it was a holiday wedding, everything else was booked and I had little choice. Turns out my source was right. Also, Derina is not very in touch with technology, since she managed to lose all of the TEN THOUSAND photos that I emailed her of the bouquets. If you wish to receive all of your flowers and get what you asked for, do NOT go to Derina's Flower Basket for your florist needs. read more
