What's not to like about supporting Native female-owned businesses? While we were in the store, she visited with my auntie and little sis, and suggested an alternative route back to Electric City that was really beautiful. She knows the local area really well, and if she doesn't stock something, she's really helpful about where you could go to find it. My aunt bought a nice southwest-style necklace here; my little sister bought some beads; I bought some stuff for making earrings. Great shop, good resource.

The one problem I have with the store is a staff member (probably family) working there. Her demeanor is clipped, abrupt, and generally unfriendly. When she says "thanks for coming in" there's no smile, no eye contact, and zero sincerity. Too bad she ruined what could be a nice experience. i won't go back anytime soon.

As I am in Scotland, with family in Tonasket and Seattle, it was difficult to coordinate a gift basket for them after the passing of their Dad. Kelli went the extra mile and arranged to have everything purchased for the basket. As they live quite far out of town, she also arranged to have it picked up at her shop. I was so amazed at how she really took care of everything, without a doubt she is a true asset to the community. If you ever need flower arrangements, plants, gifts, PLEASE give this florist a call. We will return again and again because of the attention, care, and kindness they showed us. The world needs more people like them! Second, 4 of us rented cross country ski equipment for 3 days. It was very affordable (you get discounts for the multiple days), they fit you for all the equipment with experience and knowledge, and they give fabulous recommendations on where to go based on our skill levels and current snow conditions. PLUS they said we could come back at the end of the day to get our skis waxed again before our next day out in the snow for optimal skiing! How nice! Finally, they went above and beyond in all of our interactions. Being new to cross country skiing, we struggled a bit (we still had fun!) and we were pretty sore after 2 days, so we asked if we could switch to snowshoes for our last day and they were totally flexible and let us switch! We were extremely appreciative and had a blast snowshoeing. We are hikers so this felt more natural to us. They also went above and beyond when our friend's dog was having a limp tail from the cold - they helped us figure out how to put some foot warming pads by his tail and it totally worked! They even let us take the roll of tape so we could do it the next day. I literally cannot express how incredible these people were. I am still in awe and want to go back just to visit with them again! We couldn't recommend this shop more highly. We will tell all our friends and family. We will come back to this area and only rent from them. If I could, I would give them 10 stars! THANK YOU MACKIE FAMILY!
