My car was making some weird sounds and I had to leave it there for a few days so they can look into it. They found some other maintenance work I needed so I chose to do some other services as we couldn't figure out exactly where the other noise was coming from. I took the car home and the other noise came on again on the freeway so I recorded it and emailed it to them. I dropped my car off the next day and also spoke to the owner Tony who is a great person. He was very patient, calm and ended up finding out what the issue was, and got it all fixed for me. It was so difficult for me to find a mechanic in nears my house who would help me restore my dad's car. Then someone told me about Schmitt Automotive. Frank and Mark helped me restore this car. They didn't just help me fix the car so it can drive again. Frank helped me restore the car to the point that it's no longer leaking in the trunk, the radio that didn't work now is working great. Not only did the court find their work faulty (including issues with a transmission they serviced), but even after losing, they still have not paid what they legally owe. This is beyond unprofessional -- it's dishonest. The court clearly determined that their service was faulty and that I was entitled to compensation. Yet here we are, still waiting. If a business refuses to follow a court order, what does that say about their integrity? If you're considering taking your car here, think twice. If something goes wrong, you may end up in the same situation -- paying out of pocket, going through the stress of court, WINNING... and still not getting your money back. I would not trust this business with my vehicle or my money. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

We're talking a $3,000 repair. Work was done, car was running, I was satisfied. About a month later, check engine light comes on. Misfire. I brought it back not knowing what to expect -- and this is where Kenny's separated themselves from every other shop I've ever dealt with.
