Zero and I swear on my kids, ZERO flavor. Still tough. Rice and beans, mid. Beef patty- great and flaky. I paid $3 for a side of pikliz and it was in a salad dressing (small) sized disposable cup. What a total rip off. I was so psyched to try this place and it disappointed. Don't waste your hard earned money. I've been all around the Caribbean and this is just not it.

The half bowl portion was just right--filling without being too heavy. It came with rice and pickles vegetables. The flavor on the jerk chicken was excellent it was pulled chicken with a great balance of spice and seasoning. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Came out hot and perfect! If you're unsure about portion sizes, the half bowl is a great option and still very satisfying. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. In my opinion, the grilled…read morecheese is the best thing on the menu--grilled to perfection with just the right amount of butter. The French fries were hot, fresh, and a great complement to the sandwich. My wife ordered the daily special. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite as impressive. Most of the vegetables seemed like they came straight from a can and were simply heated up. The mashed potatoes were clearly instant rather than homemade. The lima beans were good but could have used a little more seasoning. On the positive side, the roast beef with gravy was a generous portion and tasted very good. Our server is there every time we visit. She's always friendly, attentive, and makes us feel welcome, which keeps us coming back. Even with a few shortcomings, we enjoy stopping here whenever we're in Gallatin and will definitely return. That said, the facility is beginning to show its age. A renovation along with some fresh paint and updated woodwork would really improve the overall dining experience.

I had the fish and chips and my wife had the "bikini chicken". My fish was overcooked. Better than undercooked of course, but not what I was expecting. Slaw was odd. Seemed like there were craisins in the slaw? It was much sweeter than it should be. Fries were good but no seasoning. Salad on the salad bar was a bit wilted. I will say I truly enjoyed the homemade dressing. It was thick and very tasty. Toppings were not as fresh as I am used to, but it was not bad. Pickled selection was nice. Don't order tap beer. Although they have a decent selection, it is warm and served in a non chilled glass. My wife enjoyed her chicken and her baked potato. If yo are not a tomato fan, probably ask for the. Hi Ken to not be on tomato slices. The Caesar salad was swimming in dressing. Probably should have asked for the dressing on the side. Tea was good. Just sweet enough to enjoy! Again, a must try just for the experience. Decor is older as the house is old but it adds character and we both enjoyed that. If the food was as good as we expected we may have given a 5 star. Maybe next time we try something else and give this place another try. If you are coming through the amazing town of Lebanon, drive through town, turn on Cadet Ct. and give Sammy B's a try.

The place looks like I'm walking into an old house with a foyer! We were hungry and got to order food immediately! Since it was the first time, we were not feeling too adventurous! The food arrived within 7 to 10 minutes, the Big Kahuna Tuna Sandwich was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, the sweet potato fries with that sweet cinnamon dusting were absolutely addictive, the fish and chips were hot and crispy, and the garden quesadillas were fresh and satisfying. The wait staff were very friendly, attentive without hovering, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. I highly recommend this historic Lebanon gem to anyone looking for a relaxed, delicious meal in a place that still feels like "old school" hospitality done right. I'm looking forward to being back again someday! Thank you for the memories!

The cook on everything was as expected but the only thing that left me disappointed was the gravy. To me, it did not have much flavor, no sausage chunks, and just felt like it maybe wasn't scratch made. On the other hand, someone was in the back making those biscuits happen! Incredible, light, buttery. Service Perfection! Had this nice, sweet lady who was constantly available and upsold me on the sausage which is saying a lot. I was happy about it because the sausage was on point! Ambiance I like the openness, the pictures, the drawings. Just feels very welcoming. Would I go backm. Absolutely!
