When I spoke to Kim again on March 27th, who is unpleasant to deal with - very cold in my opinion, I was informed by her that if I waited until June 1st, after snowbird season, the transport cost would be approximately $1000 instead of the full price of $1400. Based on that information, I planned my move accordingly and prepared for my move. However, on May 25 I was told that quote could no longer be honored because of fuel costs. While I understand that market conditions can change, it was frustrating to learn this nearly two months after being given the original pricing estimate. The communication and scheduling process only became more difficult from there. My transport dates were changed multiple times, and I was connected with a driver whose proposed pick-up date did not work with my moving timeline and different from what Kim told me. When I raised concerns, I was told that the driver schedule was not Kim's responsibility, despite her being my primary point of contact throughout this process, and that she would let me know later in the week - the week I was moving. I informed her I was moving on Friday, June 5th and needed reliable scheduling. She said "well it doesn't work that way, that's not how we do things". So instead of receiving a clear solution, I was met with the decision to wait or try other companies and see what I could figure out. I made other arrangements with a company who for $200 more would take my car and bring it directly to the address where I am residing, whereas per Kim, I would have to pick up my car at their lot. Finally, on June 3rd Kim calls and informs me the earliest available pickup is Monday, June 8th - three days after I flew out of Florida. I told her that doesn't work and that I made other arrangements, and she said OK and hung up. The difference I experienced between Kim and the other companies I called were night and day. Other companies had no difficulty in providing me with a firm date and communication was clear and accommodating. My biggest concerns were the lack of customer service, poor communication, repeated schedule changes and failure to honor the pricing expectations that were initially provided. Moving is stressful enough without having to constantly chase updates and adjust plans due to unreliable scheduling. Unfortunately, this experience with Kim left me feeling that my business was not valued, and I would not use this company every again or recommend them! If I could give zero stars I would. PLUS I CALLED TO SPEAK TO THE OWNER OR A SUPERVISOR IN TRANSPORTATION AND NEVER GOT A CALL BACK!!! This entire company doesn't care about customers.

Out contract was for 150.00+25.00 deposit and the remainder of 1300.00 was to be paid to the delivery driver. The delivery driver's company ( which was not dependable, It was actually a company called NWAY) wanted 950.00 for the COD and did not take credit car payment. I made arrangements to get them the money within an hour of verifying I was not being double billed. The receptionist and Dependable said the 175.00 was what was charged. The next day Iooked at my credit card statement and I was billed 189.00 and 378.00 . The contract only authorized them to bill my card 175.00. The contract stated that only NY state residents pay sales tax. I am an Ohio resident. After multiple attempts to contact dependable and talk with David White Hill the owner and was never given a return call I disputed the difference between 189.00 and 175.00 (14.00) and I also disputed the 378.00 to my credit card since it was never authorized in the first place. I finally called and got in touch with the Owner Dave Whitehill. He asked if we were on a recored line and I said "no this was going to be 2 gentlemen trying to work out something"and he said we you should be. He proceeded to MF me more than anyone had ever done in my life he called me a "deadbeat faggot"also. Then he hung up on me. I attempted to call back but he had left. I called again and was trying to talk to someone about the remaining balance I was going to pay. ( I don't think I should owe it because their service was the same I would get from any other company on the internet. I had multiple quotes on this move but went with one 360.00 more because of the promise of using their own drivers. Moral of the story is just use anyone on the net who seems decent at the lowest price because unless it is a 2600.00 move by a white glove company they are all the same. Our driver was from the national load dispatching pool and he was a good guy.
