Today, I need a quote for a simple renter's insurance policy for my mother in the retirement home. Jay said he was sending my request to underwriting 5 days ago. He hasn't responded to emails for an update. I called an insurance company I don't like and got a quote over the phone. Naturally this raised concerns about identity theft and wondering if someone else is applying for insurance in our names. The main office said they would put a note in the file for no future contact.
