I did a stupid thing and jammed my side into a bannister ... I am sure I heard a "pop"... I have broken ribs before and recognized the instant pain but had never heard the bone break. My doctor sent me here to be sure that my diagnosis of a broken rib was correct and that there wasn't any further concerns. I called these folks and was instantly impressed. They picked up the phone quickly, we're empathetic with my concerns, scheduled an appointment for a me within an hour and, when I arrived, I was taken to the X-ray area right Away. My tech, I think his name is Nish, was professional, put me at ease despite my issues with sharp pain and got the work done in short order. I was really grateful and impressed. Clean rooms, excellent patient service by a sharp, professional staff, quick results ... my doctor called me with the news that I broke one rib but it wasn't a displaced fracture. All good except for the annoying aches. Highly recommend these folks for the quality, efficiency, and medically accurate service they deliver. Hope I don't need them again but if you do, no better place in the area. read more

I recently had to go for a mammogram appointment and called first to see if they take my insurance first and the representative was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns and helped me make the appointment which was very easy. Then when I arrived at the locations, I was taken in for the mammogram with one the nurse and it was simple for the X-rays being done and she was very nice and helpful explaining everything and making sure I was okay, not all nurses were nice at the other places. It was a little stressful because you had to stand a certain way for them to take the x rays but it was less than 15 mins and the X-rays were done and then I had to go for an ultrasound, that one took longer and that one was harder for me to do. Overall this location is great, the employees were really nice and plus it's closed to home. Didn't need to travel so so far. read more

I went to the Denville location because I needed a brain MRI (w/wo contrast), due to a tumor on my ear, and they have an open MRI which I prefer for my head. I spoke with the scheduler in depth about the machine and she confirmed they had an open MRI. The day of the test, I arrived and the staff at the window was efficient. The tech who led me to the MRI room was pleasant and empathetic. At the time of set up, I asked if they had headphones with music, and she said no, and handed me a pair of foam ear buds. I don't have success with earbuds as they fall out of my ears. The test started and it sounded like a train going through the room. I told the tech performing the test, it was very loud, but she assured me the earbuds would protect my hearing. The earbuds that fell out? I have a ear tumor! My doctor stresses I must protect my hearing! Yet they gave me flimsy foam earbuds! The test usually takes about an hour, but I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Waiting for them to burn the CD took longer than the actual MRI. I am hoping the test was performed accurately. I won't be back to this facility. read more

I came here for routine mammogram and ultrasound. It was freezing cold inside and the staff really didn't care about patients discomfort. The ultrasound tech acted like a robot. They have no bedside manner. I've been to many imaging facilities and this one was the worst. read more

I made the mistake of switching to Denville Diagnostics because I was too lazy to follow Medical park Imaging now known as Princeton Radiology to their new location in Mountain lakes. The staff at Denville Diagnostics is rude they don't listen to their patients and it's impossible to get an appointment that works around your work schedule. I had a Mammogram that required an ultrasound follow up and they only do them Wednesday mornings. They made me wait a month for an appointment. When I was done I left without knowing if the breast in question had a problem cancer required followup more films. Other facilities let you know before you leave to ease the stress of waiting not here you go home and wait a week and see if you get a call to come back. I don't recommend going here. The mammo tech is a mere robot that is just doing a job. No feelings. read more

Their staff is very professional and they may offer music depending on what exam you are scheduled for. However, in my experience, the company's MRI reports do not provide detailed information; and certain of which appear to be missing findings compared to other radiologists. Also, for whatever exam you are scheduled for, if your insurance doesn't pay for it in the end, you can be billed for several thousand dollars by Denville Diagnostics. This company will simply mail you the bill for the full amount. read more

Beware, they swindle your insurance company if you have two tests at the same time. Instead of billing together as they should, they bill one at a time at different dates so it looks like different tests. This costs both you and the insurance company much more money. I needed an MRI and was referred here. The entire process was painless. Setting up the appointment was a breeze. They confirmed the appointment 2x (one of which was a recorded message). The staff was so nice. The woman who actually did the MRI made me feel relaxed. No stress throughout the entire ordeal. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. The facility itself is very well kept. Good coffee provided. Plus they will work with you if you don't have insurance. Their site has all the pricing. The only downside is the parking lot. Tight BUT I was lucky to find a spot right outside the front door...win! read more

I called this place and inquired about the facility, staff, as well as, costs and their lack of ACR accreditation and why their owner seems eager to accommodate "self pay" patients as opposed to insured patients. The owner Brian Dwyre is an egotistical rude SOB. His video basically to lure in and steer clients to his 3 facilities is in my opinion, unethical. Because I am a proactive patient and asked his staff multiple questions BEFORE deciding to use his facilities and rightfully so. Of course no one ever replied nor returned my call. This to me exhibits they have something to hide or don't want the public to know. I will admit their pricing for imaging services are among the cheapest and more affordable but at the cost of what? Quality and compassion and using substandard protocols with absolutely no accreditation like most stand alone imaging facilities, many of whom are compatible in pricing, whether it be self pay or through IN NETWORK insurance. In any event, and although it would have been convenient to go to from where I live, I don't recommend this unscrupulous owner, possibly located in Haledon, nor the various facilities he might own besides the Denville facility, is worth risking your money or well being on since they don't seem to care as do the many other facilities I've been to that were much more caring and compassionate, let alone receptive to a prospective client's business. PS..Brian Dwyre, It doesn't surprise me to find a hosts of derogatory reviews about Denville Diagnostics and I'm sure your 2 other locations are no better. I hope people needing imaging DO NOT go to any of your facilities. You and your staff need to learn some bedside manners!! I implore anyone looking for a low cost CT/MRI NOT TO GO HERE AS THERE ARE MANY OTHER STAND ALONE FACILITIES WHO ARE JUST AS CHEAP COMPARED TO GOING TO "SOME" of the other facilities in Morris or adjacent counties as well. Also be aware that the HOSPITALS want 5-7 times as much for the EXACT same test and using the same standard protocols which is absurd. So stay informed and don't be fleeced and overcharged by these overly zealous GREEDY people/owners whom are usually doctors, if not doing it at a hospital, where the hospital owns the equipment. read more

I was very nervous as I entered Denville Diagnostic because I had already been at the doctors for hours and I just wanted some answers. From the moment I walked in till the moment I left the ladies in the front and Amber went above and beyond to accommodate me. The tech I needed was not in and they were so nice about it when they could see I was nervous and upset. They called their other location and made sure I would be seen as soon as I got there and even made sure i had the correct paper work! It was a very pleasant Experience and I know where I will be going back again the next time I need something done! read more

I don't understand what their business plan is in terms of retaining patients. I went for a mammogram and ultrasound. I have been actively trying to get my images from them, it's like trying to retrieve the kohinoor. The staff is rude, nasty and extremely combative. I was warned about a hundred times that the CD "will" break in the mail and I can't hold them responsible. I am assuming that they will break the CD. They yelled about how expensive CDs are and they have to pay for it so they can't just keep sending CDs to patients. I am guessing they assume patients don't care about results or having access to the images of their own body. I am exhausted having to deal with them and hope they figure out how to do their job in the near future with a little bit of decency. read more

Very easy to get an appointment and staff was friendly over the phone. Came in 15 minutes early and completed paperwork, and they called me in with no additional wait time. It was my first time here and although I didn't feel anxious, I ended up having a bit of an anxiety attack and almost passed out a couple times. The tech was so kind and patient with me and let me take my time breathing and getting myself calm. She was very reassuring and that made me feel better. The procedure was quick and painless and I felt secure that she knew what she was doing. The office was clean and comfortable. Today I have an MRI. It was open and the technician was Corinne. I have always used in the diagnostics for all my x-rays and diagnostic tests. I think they are the best in the area and always provide outstanding service. The place is immaculate and they have the latest equipment. My open MRI was a piece a cake. I was made very comfortable lying on a spongy type of fabric under my back which is a problem. They were very loud noises from the machine but I was given earplugs to keep me comfortable. I would highly recommend Denville Diagnostics to my friends and anybody who might need a test done in a professional easy way. I really dread having an MRI and it was nothing at all. Needed an MRI of my hand. The last place that I had it done was no longer doing extremity MRI's. A few of the imaging places that I contacted refused me because I am a wheelchair user (paraplegic) and I can not transfer from my wheelchair on my own. They would not offer any help. I am an old dinosaur, far from being in good health and I could not rely on my friends because they're in even worse shape than me. After searching the internet, I came across ImageCare in Denville, NJ. My first contact was with Lisa who is the sweetest, accommodating person that I've come across in a long time. I explained my situation to her and she said "let me see what I can do and I'll get back to you" A little while later, Lisa called me and said that in order for ImageCare to help me, she would tell the owners, Mike and his son Brian about my situation. After Lisa spoke to Mike and Brian, they agreed that I was going to get that MRI. I made an appointment for 3/2/21 and when I showed up, Mike and Brian were waiting there and the both of them picked me up out of my wheelchair and placed me on the non metallic chair in the MRI room. They struggled a little because you have to keep in mind that I am NOT a lightweight, but they got me in that chair. I met Laura the MRI tech who further reassured me and made me feel comfortable. After the procedure was done, Mike and Brian got me back into my wheelchair. You have to keep in mind that they didn't have to do what they did, but they did. Most people go into business to make money. I'm sure that Mike and his son Brian also did the same. However Mike and Brian are a little extra special because they were willing to help someone in need and less fortunate than others. I salute ImageCare with my Thanks to Lisa, Laura, Mike and Brian.. I've always gone to Saint Barnabas ambulatory and waited for anywhere up to half hour to 45 minutes maybe more. Usually a very bland expressionless Technician, but that's OK. But my insurance did not permit me go there anymore, so I had to go to Denville diagnostics ....wasn't happy about it. But I was very pleasantly surprised, I didn't wait more than five or 10 minutes and that's probably because I had to fill out the paperwork and took too long. But my ultrasound tech named Brianne was so pleasant and kind and she searched and searched to make sure my breast was clean due to the fact that I am a breast cancer survivor. she really put herself out to make sure she didn't miss anything. I thank her again through this yelp! I also had a great mammo tech named Vanessa who again was very very friendly and kind , I thank them both! So don't hesitate to go to Denville diagnostics for your mammogram's and ultrasounds!! Thank you again Brianne and Vanessa you really did make this not so fun experience A thankful one. I mean let's face it these procedures are kind of hard on us and it means a lot when you have a kind and caring technician!!! read more

They are 0 for 2 with me -- on two separate occasions. The first instance was for an open MRI for my knee. They were insistent on jamming my foot through a collar that was clearly the wrong size. I honestly thought they were going to fracture my foot. As I was complaining about the pain, the technician kept jamming it through. Had bruises on my foot and ankle the next day. The second round was a closed shoulder MRI. No offer of ear plugs or a headset. I had to lay there listening to that pounding sound for the duration with no ear protection. Left with ringing in my ears and a headache. read more

I recently was sent here by my doctor for an ultrasound last week. This facility was able to get me in the same day and I had a follow up appointment with my doctor the next day and they were able to get the results to him by then. I was so nervous as I've never had any diagnostic testing done before. But the front desk and the ultrasound tech made me feel completely comfortable. The check-in process was relatively straightforward. They ask you to be there 15 minut s before the actual peocedure. The waiting room is a bit small but it serves the purpose and you always get a seat not feeling cramped. The actual ultrasound room and machine look very professional and up to date. The wait for a copy of the images did take 20 minutes but it was fine. The results are sent directly to the dr.'s office. read more

I have called them 4 times and they continually lie that they will submit request immediately, yet it has never been done, despite my calls and their promises. I had the most horrible experience at the facility in Denville. Prior to this I had never had a problem at this facility. However today was different. I was scheduled for an mri for my shoulder. Because I am extremely claustrophobic my doctor prescribed Valium to calm my nerves. Unfortunately the drug did not work as expected and I was extremely anxious when I went into the mri room. I told the technician of the issue but he showed no empathy whatsoever. He was more concerned about getting me in and out and onto the next patient. No personal attention or concern was shown at all. Previously I had a similar problem at Denville Radiology with a ct scan and was treated with extreme compassion by the technician who was ultimately able to get me through the process. I guess Denville Diagnostics feel they are the only show in town for certain procedures so they don't care about how the patients are treated. read more

I have had multiple tests in the past few weeks. I found M-F clerical staff to be rude and lazy, having me refill all admissions paperwork out every single time. They don't want to reference the computer and will go as far as to say, well I'm not in your file, so this is our process to have your fill out the paperwork at every visit. They need to get with the program and recognize that doctor's offices do actually use their computer programs and ask for insurance updates once a year. Further, the only paper that needs to be filled out is the identification of where the pain currently is. They have failed to send reports to doctors and have hung up on me when I called to question it. They have accused me of calling them liars and have really crossed the line. I will find the appropriate agency to report them to and will follow through on that. Denville Diagnostics is living in a self-centered world, failing to recognize that our insurance payments are paying their livelihood. I will say the weekend staff is much nicer and much more efficient. Really, you can go about anywhere and get a diagnostic test, but actually having the results in hand is what you pay for and these M-F people are total incompetents. read more
