We purchased it knowing we were going to be having a baby, and the lifetime comfort guarantee (where they come and help tweak it *FOREVER* if you're uncomfortable) was the main reason for purchasing. Our mattresses were an order of magnitude more expensive than typical mattresses and especially the online mattresses that are gaining so much traction. Fast forward just 2 years later after spending several THOUSANDS of dollars on our two mattresses and customer service tells us that not only is the lifetime guarantee no longer applicable because they closed all Colorado factories (which they did not notify us about) but that the only way to "tweak" our Verlo mattress from here out is to purchase a foam topper from Verlo that's just called "hard" or "soft" to the tune of $179. What a joke. I have absolutely no intention of giving this company any more money and am incensed that I was conned into spending thousands in the name of comfort just to find out that lifetime meant just until it was delivered to my home, at which point Verlo no longer cares what happens and will make absolutely no effort to fix the problem or care about their customers. DO NOT purchase from this company. Don't fall for their "lifetime" guarantee, and just do yourself a favor -- skip it and look elsewhere. We will be informing our Milwaukee family and their friends to make a different choice and recommendation next time.

When they sell you a bed they will tell you that you can make adjustments to it for one year free of charge. "No problems. We will even come and pick it up for you". As with all things the devil is in the details. They won't charge me to open the mattress and add foam or remove it. However there is a $90 transport fee every time I do it ,if i don't have a truck to transport it to longmont. I wanted to buy local but my experience was not the best.

GO ELSEWHERE~ Bad integrity with warranty!…read more I purchased a VERY expensive wool\spring mattress from Urban Mattress with a 20 year NON-prorated warranty. $3,095 + tax. The mattress is failing and there are sunken areas in which my body now sinks in around 25% (I mostly sleep on my back)! I weigh slightly over 100lbs. I'm not a heavy person putting undo stress on the mattress. Based on some comments from Urban Mattress, I've discovered this mattress is failing for many people, not just me. The customer service lady first offered to replace with a USED display mattress! That's not what the promise of the warranty is! They are refusing to replace it with the same despite the NON-PRORATED warranty, unless I pay an additional $900. They want me to participate in their replacement cost! I even offered to let them substitute with a different but similar brand of wool mattress that costs less. They said no. They said they'd replace (for free) with a latex mattress. I did not purchase a latex mattress! I purchased a very expensive wool one because I'm allergic to latex and also chemical sensitive. Wool mattresses have no toxins, no latex, do not off gas, and have no toxic fire retardants. The customer service person (not sure, but I think she's the daughter of the owner) said her mother and sister have latex allergies and were OK with their latex and asked me to try one of their organic latex pillows. I agreed in hopes of compromise and getting this resolved, even though it's not a wool mattress. I tried the organic latex pillow and broke out in hives. Of all the crazy off the wall things, after breaking out in hives from the latex pillow test, they offered to give me a free box spring instead of a new mattress to replace my failed mattress. I have a platform type bed that I bought from them when I purchased the mattress. It is 100% complaint with the mattress warranty and in very good condition! My 20 year non-prorated warranty is for the mattress! It's not for a box spring, not a latex mattress... it's for a wool\spring mattress. Shop elsewhere! They don't stand behind the warranty's for their mattresses.

Next we started in on couches, and based on my feedback he directed me to one I had originally ignored. As soon as I sat in it I knew it was the one, it just felt right, and even trying other options none compared. He called me on Monday to confirm a delivery window on Tuesday with a third party moving service. Due to an issue with the delivery company's website, they never got the order, and he called me on Tuesday as soon as he realized what happened. He tried to get them to still deliver same day, but they didn't have availability until the following day, which worked out fine. We prefer harder cushions and straighter backs which is why we chose a custom Stanton sofa lounger. In response to Mr. GBCs post...yes if money is tight you can go to American Furniture and get cheaper items that will last only a few years. However if you shop at say Ashley or Sam Levitts, they charge thousands for poor quality furniture. Woodley's is a high-end store, and the products are high quality and expensive. They tend toward modern rather than traditional styles, but have a good variety. The products are usually manufactured to your specifications rather than delivered from their warehouse, and may take two or three months to arrive. Because they are made for you, you can usually get any choice of finish and upholstery. In-store service is knowledgeable and unobtrusive. This is a huge store and they had in particular a large number of dining sets.
