He was entertaining and informative on our ride into Denver, and even suggested a way to get to a Rockies game that was going on that night if I'd wanted to go. For just a couple of bucks more than a nasty cab, Total Transportation made me feel welcome and important -- even if Joe was in a Hawaiian shirt and not a dark suit. I called Joe directly to check his price the morning before our flight. I was told the cost was $65. His price of $65 (watch this number) was comparable to others, and I booked him. He requested I send all my credit card information to him via text message. My friend was a bit queasy about sending all that information via text, but I did it. That turned out to be the least of our problems! Joe told me we needed to be ready by 6:30 a.m. to get to the airport on time. We were waiting out front at 6:15 a.m. 6:30 a.m. rolled by and no sight of Joe. At 6:35 I called Joe. The call went to voicemail. Nervous. I then sent a text message. He called me at 6:37 to say he was about 15 minutes away. At 6:52 I get a text saying 2 minutes. He finally shows up a bit after 7:00!! The Denver airport is 30 - 40 minutes from downtown. I'm very upset. He apologizes profusely, and says his alarm didn't go off. Good thing I called him. He tells me he is going to give me a discount on my credit card. Needless to say, we did not tip him. We get to the airport to find the longest check-in line anyone has ever seen at Denver! It seems the whole town is flying this morning. We barely make it to our gate as the plane is beginning to board. Joe sends me a text telling me he is going to give me a 50% refund. That should be half of $65, right? I check my credit card charges, and I discover he charged me $80!!! I send him a text message to ask why the charge is $80 not the $65 he quoted me. He replies and tells me the $80 includes his tip!! WHAT?? A $15 tip I was not told about when I booked?? That is a 23% tip. I'm a good tipper, but 23%?? For a ride that almost made us miss our plane? To his credit he did issue a full refund of the $80. If Joe is going to run an airport shuttle service, he needs to get a better idea of how to run a business. He is a very nice older gentleman, but this was almost a disaster for us. I suppose everyone screws up once in awhile and oversleeps. I was actually ready to forgive that, but the $80 charge when he quoted me $65 with no mention of the automatic $15 additional tip put me over the top of my patience. If you take the chance on Joe, be sure you call him when you get up in the morning to give him time to get out of bed and arrive on time, and ask about that 23% tip!

We called and confirmed twice as we had friends from out of state and we were going to the George Straight concert at Empower Field downtown Denver and wanted it perfect. we had 8 in our party, we were told the Sprinter held 10 so we would have plenty of room. We said we wanted extra room that was fine. We were told we had to pay the hourly rate the whole evening, they could not drop and return they would stay the entire time. Therefore they gave us a discount of $150 per hour for approx 7 hours. The pics on their website show a beautiful Sprinter limo like atmosphere. We were picked up at 4.30 with a FORD TRANSIT. It held 6 and was NOTHING like the Sprinter advertised, One of my family had to sit up with the driver. We had no other way of transportation, so had no choice but to take this. The driver said she thought we were going to Red Rocks, We said no, its down town stadium. When we were approaching the stadium congestion the driver asked what exit should she take and where to go, she said she had never been downtown. We said she should already have directions to where the limos dropped off and picked up. We were on the backside of the stadium and had to get out in the middle of the road. She said she would find the place she should be and contact us for pick up. After the concert she called saying she could not find her parking area and could not get close, we had to walk all the way to parking lot G. Again we had no other options. After arguing we were told half off for the errors. We were still required to pay $600.00 and we tipped another $200.00 feeling bad for the inexperienced driver. The entire experience was horrible. We should have not had to pay a cent for that misrepresentation, also the media player was not charged, we had to pull over to be told how to use the system radio etc. The owner texted my husband the next morning saying we were late getting back and shorted him a hour on his rates. Told us to never call them again. My first thought was, was he really charging $150 a hour for a FORD Van. My second was what nerve. We paid Cash so unfortunately it was a done deal. As we pulled into our neighborhood, he suddenly demanded extra money, claiming the distance was more than expected -- despite having agreed to the price with full knowledge of where we lived. When we declined to pay more than what we'd already agreed to, he became hostile and started yelling. He threatened to call the police, and we told him to go ahead. When officers arrived, they confirmed he was in the wrong and told him to leave. We were left to walk half a mile home after paying in full for a service we didn't receive. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful treatment of paying customers. Would not recommend.

Picked up on time ( they knew we were tourists as soon as we came out of baggage claims) at both airport and for the return trip. Friendly drivers, quick service and even received perfect drive time. The shared ride service was perfect for the DIA to Denver drive. Shared ride means you may share with other people but since we were not in a rush to get into Denver, the ride took only 40 minutes. The private ride service was perfect for the return ride as we needed to be on time so we got a direct ride at less than a taxi cost! Ride time was 30 minutes and got us to the airport at the commercial drop off location (not the curb where all others get dropped off). That special drop off location where it was not busy and made it easy to check in! Definitely will use them next time at Denver International Airport.
