Which is great, because it means you never have to call a stranger and say the sentence: "Hello, I'd like to schedule some aggressive hair removal." You check in and within minutes someone is calmly spreading hot wax on you like they're frosting a cake. A cake that is unfortunately attached to your shoulders. Then comes the rip. Somewhere deep inside, my inner Greek barbarian wants to roar and run back into the mountains. Instead I sit there quietly thinking, "Ah yes... this is how the modern man suffers." The staff are nice and professional, though the vibe is definitely efficient rather than spa-day indulgence. This is less "luxury relaxation" and more "well-run hair removal logistics operation." I respect that. Huge bonus: I can walk there. Few things are more humbling than casually strolling down the street knowing you're about to pay someone to violently remove your fur.
