Unfortunately, I co-signed on said vehicle, so I had to spend part of my vacation dealing with this mess. First and foremost, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never finance a car through Ally. They say they don't treat you like other banks, and they're right. They treat you so much worse. During the time we were trying to deal with them to get the car back, the vehicle was removed from the repo center to the auction house, which happened to be Manheim in Denver. Ally spent HOURS jerking us around, claiming they sent our release papers when they didn't and telling us they were going to be faxed when they knew the fax at Manheim was broken. This meant we had to have called Manheim an easy twelve to fifteen times over the course of that day, to say nothing of the following days when I wasn't present to be making the calls. What made this whole rotten experience sweeter was Manheim themselves. They were friendly EVERY call, even when we had already dialed them several times. They were very understanding of our repeated calls, did everything they could to help us and let us know we were being nowhere near the burden we felt that we were. Today, my son is FINALLY getting his car back. He called me from the Manheim lot to tell me that everyone is just as friendly and accommodating​ in person as they are on the phone. We got right up to the point of a test drive and Kyle fell off the face of the earth. I am really disappointed in how the customer service has plummeted. I've noticed when the quality is poor the description is brief. Don't rely on the photos for the lots either. I was surprised when I saw the items at pick up. The auction website does state to inspect the items prior to bidding which I didn't do (live three hours away) so that is on me. However, if you are one of those far away bidders, be wary of relying on the photos. I'm using a different auction service for my future bids.
