(Crown work) according to their "dental treatment plan" they said I owed an additional amount. I found it odd because I had paid everything already out of pocket. Fast forward, recently my new dentist was out on maternity leave. I was at a time crunch. Therefore, i returned to Denton Smiles and saw Dr. Tran again. They supplied me with a complete and detailed "treatment plan" including x-rays. Again it was several thousand dollars. I'm a senior citizen living on a small fixed retirement pension, but am serious and responsible about paying my debts even if I use credit cards. Again this time I paid punctually 2 large payments over a few thousand. Again, after a month of having paid my bill (treatment plan") and dental work was completed, mysteriously i was billed an additional $200. dollars. Now every week i receive a harassing text of owing $200. I have called, I politely emailed and texted. But no answer or response. I requested a meeting with their accounts manager to show them a copy of their treatment plan and the payments I made that paid it in full. No response not even out of courtesy! Total I paid this practice $10,000 ! All to Denton Smiles. Their behavior can put responsible paying patients with good credit into a debt collection agency that ruins their credit! CAUTION: This facility does not keep their word nor respects their own treatment plans and bills they provide to patients. Even when you pay in full out of pocket and clarify insurance doesn't cover it (which they already know) they'll look for a reason to bill you a month or two AFTER you've already paid your bill in full. These are deceptive practices squeezing additional money out of responsible patients and worse ruining one's good credit. Months later, I am still waiting for the appointment to settle the matter.

My surgery for 1 tooth extraction was on Friday, they charged me more than I should have, charged me extra for deep sleeping anesthesia. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes. At 9:04 am I went into the surgery room with the doctor's assistant (there was a monitor with the time right in front of me). I waited for the doctor until 9:30 am (when dr.Shillingburg came in, I looked at the time on the monitor again). A few minutes later I got an injection from deep sleep . They called to my husband at 10:01am so he could pick me up! I'm 100% sure surgery was about 30 minutes, maybe even less!! But the doctor's assistant lied so much that the surgery lasted 47 minutes! REALLY??? And she said the surgery started at 8:52am! What a shame! Omg ! Check your cameras before lying to a patient who trusted you! At 8:52am, I was still standing at the checkout, sorting out the bill you gave me and trying to add $3,000 for an additional service I didn't need, in addition to $3,313 for one tooth extraction! I asked for it to be removed because the bill was already huge! It was about 6.000$ ! CRAZY ! They are the most expensive in this area, but they turned out to be such scammers! I'm shocked!

The provider is really great she takes her time with you to make sure you understand and are comfortable with the game plan moving forward. From my initial call to being seen to being treated it took no more than 90 mins!!! Paperwork was sent via email/text, which allowed me to send in my info whilst husband was fighting traffic. Xrays were taken, dentist assessed the situation. Luckily for me, it was a small chip, so she fixed it with a filing, instead of a crown I was advised to seek a follow up after my trip. Yall, I am a wreck when I go to the dentist with appointment. I was on mental overload for this visit. The dentist and her assistant were so nice, calm, knowledgeable, immediate attention and care, and a treatment that was true. No overselling dental work, even filed to my insurance. Unfortunately had a crown needing replacement and she elected to do the one next to it at the same time. The work took 2 hours and never have I had a needle for numbing cause the discomfort / pain I experienced. The temporary crown was ill fitting and caused me to bite the inside of my mouth when eating. A few days later it broke and came out. The permanent replacements were also ill fitted. The bite was high and a sharp edge was left which irritated my tongue. Went back and had some adjustments made but did little to correct the High and Off center bite. Any pressure on those while eating cause discomfort. After two different consultations with other DDS. Both said unfortunately they will need to be replaced. One did take the time to correct her work and give me a "normal" bite. Left his office this morning with two new temporary crowns and little to no discomfort while in his chair. I wish her and her staff well but I will not return. My wife just told me a filling that was put in last week came out this morning........wonderful just wonderful.

My first root canal they were able to do at the dentist, but this one I was referred to a specialist. It was an emergency and I was in a lot of pain . Dr. Saunders and the Essential Endodontics crew made the pain go away in less than 2 hours . I also received a call the next day to make sure I was okay . If your dentist sends you here don't be scared, the worst part is when when they numb the area as they are going to work on , you will feel close to nothing during the procedure. If you have had a cavity you know what I'm talking about. They also did a great job to make sure I understand the cost before they started.

My entire family of four had our annual cleanings, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. So far, so good. Things took a turn when one of my daughters needed a filling. We were given an estimated cost based on in-network coverage, which seemed fair. The procedure went well, and I was told she needed an additional service during the visit. I wasn't informed that this would cost extra, but I would have agreed to it if I had known -- transparency is key. What frustrated me was receiving a secondary bill later on for an underpayment. I was surprised because this is supposed to be an in-network dentist. I assumed the costs were pre-negotiated with the insurance provider. Apparently not. While the dental care itself was good, we were left feeling misled and frustrated by the unexpected charges. We've decided to look for a new dentist who is more transparent and upfront about pricing -- especially when claiming to be in-network.

I also had some indications of tooth instability in front that I also hadn't noticed. I just finished my third gum graft with Dr. Moore and am now confident that I will soon be completely ache free with a natural method that uses my own tissue to solve the problem in a lasting way. I found that the procedures themselves were so tolerable that I only needed local anesthesia. Then within a few days after the procedure I needed no over the counter pain medications and within a few weeks it feels normal. And doing my right side made me realize how much constant pain I had been living with because the right side pain was gone and the left side(not yet done) remained. I knew again what normal felt like. The staff is very nice and helpful in scheduling things around your other life.
