If you are looking for real life mental therapy or a no nonsense journey to mental well being, then…read moreHarvest Counseling has it. I have been seeing Brad on a weekly basis and I've had very positive results in how I deal with grief and conflict in my life. I've been to other family and personal counselors that barely touch the surface of your inner conflict and rely on telling you what you want to hear versus what you need to hear in order to keep the next appointment. Brad gets down in the mud and weeds with you to identify the source of the problem and provides real life scenarios and homework for you to put into practice as you work toward a repeatable solution. Like the sign says over the coffee bar "the only thing sugar coated here is the coffee".

Kacilyn at Doherty Nutrition has profoundly transformed my life for the better, and it is difficult…read moreto fully capture how grateful I am for the impact she has had on my journey. Before working with her, I had spent years feeling blamed for my weight and misunderstood by the very professionals who were supposed to help. I was repeatedly told that if the number on the scale went down it meant I was recovering, and if it did not it meant I was failing. That mindset left me feeling defeated and ashamed, as though my body and my struggles were simply the result of a lack of willpower. Meeting Kacilyn changed that narrative in the most meaningful way. From the very beginning she approached my situation with compassion, curiosity, and genuine care. Instead of looking at me as a number on a scale or a list of habits to correct, she saw the whole person standing in front of her. She validated the very real struggle I was experiencing, something that many dietitians in the past had minimized or overlooked. Rather than simply telling me what to do, she took the time to understand what I had been through and why my relationship with food had become so complicated. One of the most powerful things about working with Kacilyn is that she never treated my weight as a personal failure. She helped me understand that my body is part of a much larger system and that many factors can influence health and weight. When a doctor later identified that an endocrine issue was playing a role, Kacilyn did not attempt to diagnose anything herself, but she supported the medical guidance with care and professionalism and helped adjust our approach in a way that respected my body and my circumstances. That shift in perspective was incredibly healing. For the first time I felt like someone truly understood that this was not about willpower, but about supporting the body as a whole. Kacilyn also helped me rebuild my relationship with food in a way that feels compassionate, sustainable, and grounded in understanding. Through thoughtful meal planning, education, and steady encouragement, she opened my eyes to things I had never been taught before. She helped me see food not as something to fear or control, but as something that can support my health and well being. There was a time before I met Kacilyn when I had lost hope that recovery was even possible for me. I felt exhausted and discouraged after years of trying to do everything "right" and still feeling like I was failing. Kacilyn met me in that place with empathy, patience, and humanity. She never treated me like just another patient or another case to solve. She treated me like a human being who needed understanding, guidance, and support. While recovery is still a journey and something I continue to work on every day, having Kacilyn by my side has made that journey feel possible. Her kindness, her ability to see the whole person, and her dedication to truly helping people heal have had a lasting impact on my life. I genuinely believe she is one of the most compassionate clinicians I have ever encountered. If you are considering working with Kacilyn, you truly do not need to look any further. She is thoughtful, knowledgeable, deeply compassionate, and committed to helping people build a healthier and more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Kacilyn, for changing my heart and my life.

My earliest memories in life from what I recall revolved around appearance. Therefore, weight has…read morealways been a big part of my life since forever. It's shaped how I feel about food and myself, and I've had a rough time with disordered eating for years (still do). Eventually I decided I couldn't do it alone anymore, and that's how I found Doherty Nutrition LLC. Since February 2024, I've been seeing Remy (Bidmead, now Luper!) weekly. She's been such a solid support-not just a dietitian, but like someone who gets it. It feels as if she's not only a dietitian, but also a friend/therapist sometimes because we talk about everything including food, habits, emotions, etc. She listens, doesn't sugarcoat things, and really helps me work through both food and life events because in the end, everything's connected. It's nice to have someone who's young and gets it, could relate to me, and someone give me a different perspective on other things, so it's all super helpful. I'm finally seeing progress, which took forever, but it's happening. **Baby steps matter too as long as you're moving forward** I still have a long way to go, but having someone like Remy on my team makes it all feel a little less overwhelming. Super grateful I got matched with her. I genuinely look forward to our sessions every week-she makes me feel safe, seen, and refreshed. If you're thinking about getting dietitian related help, I'd 100% say go with Doherty Nutrition LLC. And if you can, ask for Remy!
