I advised I need to reschedule and the next appointment is for November 6th. She doesn't have all of her braces on and there's no way proper treatment can go 2 months with no visits. They have too many patients and continue to book appointments and get new business without the ability to service all patients. They get you locked into a contract and then the drama begins. She got us checked in quickly and helped put us at ease. My son needed to be sedated through an IV for his dental procedure due to his sensory needs, and as any special needs parent knows, that can be incredibly overwhelming. Dr. Paris was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel judged. Because of my son's sensory challenges, brushing his teeth has always been a struggle. Unfortunately, he needed eight crowns and three extractions**. As a parent, it's easy to feel like you've somehow failed your child in moments like these, but not one person on this team made me feel ashamed or uncomfortable. Instead, they treated us with compassion, understanding, and genuine kindness. After the procedure, Cindy, the recovery nurse, was equally incredible. I'm a single mom and didn't have anyone with me that day. She was so patient, caring, and even helped me get my son safely to the car. That simple act of kindness meant more than she probably realizes.While no parent wants their child to have to go through a procedure like this, the level of compassion, professionalism, and exceptional care we received made all the difference. We also got my son off sucking his thumb from this practice in 2-3 months after sucking his thumb for almost 3 years. Pre-covid the waiting room and waiting area inside was fun with games and light walls, but now they are limited. They have a prize wall too, after the kids' appointment. The seating arrangement for cleaning and consult is mainly chairs in a circle in 1 large room, so hygienists and dentists can move around. There are a couple of closed-off rooms for multiple kids and run-over.

I also have family members who work in the dental field, and after explaining my experience, they encouraged me to report the situation due to concerns that it did not align with standard patient care practices. After I raised my concerns, the office contacted me and tried to explain that the provider did not show frustration during the procedure. While I understand that everyone is human and emotions can happen in stressful situations, my experience as a parent in that moment felt very different and concerning. Because of everything that occurred, I felt it was necessary to report the issue and I will be seeking care elsewhere. It was an hour away but he couldn't stay with his wire out for 2 more days. So I drove him out here. Once we got there they checked us in and took him back almost immediately. He wasn't back there for 30 seconds! They undid a clip stuck the wire back fastened the clip and he was done. No charge. I mean I was glad it was fixed, but I just drove an hour for 30 seconds and was looking at an hour drive back! 30 seconds?! Couldn't they have faked it for 10 mins or so to make me feel better about the drive? I mean come on... Really the fact that they got us in here asap, took care of it no charge, and we were done in less then a min... if it wasn't for the drive I would have said this was the best doc visit ever!
