Absolutely unacceptable experience at Temecula Kids Dentistry on 4/14/26, We've been coming here for years, and today made it very clear that this office has completely lost sight of how to treat their patients, especially children. One of the employees (couldn't see name tag) spoke to my 15-year-old daughter with shocking disrespect and attitude. She actually had the nerve to question why they should "waste their time" because of a broken bracket, something that was already looked at and cleared by this SAME office less than two weeks ago. Instead of doing her job and getting the facts, she chose to talk down to a child like she knew everything. Let that sink in, an adult in a pediatric dental office thought it was appropriate to belittle a 15-year-old. It wasn't just rude, it was arrogant, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. If this is how staff are trained to interact with kids and families, that's a serious problem. No child should ever feel talked down to or disrespected in a place that's supposed to make them feel safe and cared for. After years of being a loyal customer, this experience completely changed my opinion of this office. Clearly, professionalism and basic respect are not priorities here anymore. Management should seriously take a hard look at who they have representing their business, because this kind of behavior is exactly how you lose long-time patients. read more

Dr. MANDEEP SHOULD BE NOWHERE NEAR KIDS. -GIVES SHOTS IN LESS THEN A MINUTE AFTER NUMBING GEL (he's trying to rush) - his shots squirt out of the gums (meaning the numbing liquid isn't even going in as much as it should) - when your kid says he's not numb and still feels pain (he says stop being anxious) - he tells your kid be quite so other families don't hear his pain. - he poked my sons tooth hard to see if he still had pain, sent him screaming and crying. - they try to gaslight parents and patients that they don't feel pain. When the obvious do. - then the laughing gas. Turns out he didn't have it on and only sent oxygen. - management doesn't live in reality or care either. They try to gas light you a defend their butchers. - had to rush my son to another dentist in an emergancy so the other dentist can extract the tooth. --------------------- TEMECULA VALLEY DENTISTRY - saw my kid in an emergancy. (Sever pain by Dentistry 4 kids.) - numbed him so smoothly without one scream, jerk, or tear. - was able to numb and extract tooth in 10 minutes - my son had zero trauma with this dentistry. - they are kind, see you on individual bases and are not jumping around rushing patient to patient. A few good Dentists we have experienced since doing business with them for the last 3 1/2 years. My kids love that they have "video games" in the waiting room on 2 screens while we wait. And TV's playing movies on top of their ceilings, they can watch while getting their teeth cleaning & exams. They seem understanding, and helpful to ease anxieties & concerns and answer questions. Once we got to the office all the staff from check in, photos, ladies in the back, & the actual dentist everyone was so welcoming, & my boys no longer had that fear. My goodness what is there not to say! This office and all its employees are the most amazing , caring and gentle people I have ever met. My daughter no longer cries or is afraid to visit the dentist after her last one terrorized her. BUT this place... They go at the pace of your child, they make sure your child understands what is happening , explain the tools they are using and what they are for. They even reassure her through the process and tell her what an amazing job she is doing. Really couldn't have found a better place !! Even more amazing for kids with autism. Don't waste your time or money!!!! The Orthodontist here is a big scam!! They are so unprofessional so unreliable. They have cancelled our appointments on several occasions due to not having an orthodontist in the office. I noticed that they only have one scheduled orthodontist that comes in only once a week. Patients are waiting to be seen and they don't respect the time of your appointment. My son has missed 2 entire months without getting his bands changed out. My son is autistic and they don't have any empathy towards his fear of being at the dentist from a very traumatic experience in the past. They are super rough and don't explain any procedures to the patients. The front staff is very unprofessional they always seem to be a horrible mood, it's honestly so uncomfortable. On our last visit the Orthodontist was a new doctor, I've never seen him there before he proceeded to take out my son's wire and leave the brackets on. No wire! Come to find out he is discontinuing my son treatment. My son's teeth are still crooked and he still has an overbite!!! Now he has no wire so his teeth will definitely be shifting!!! I called to let them know when we can get the wire put back in and they told me his next appointment will be until May 2025!! Like you can't be serious!! This has to be a joke!! I asked about a retainer and he has to wait until July to receive it!!! Like what the hell is this!! This definitely feels like some type of scam!! Once your child's time is up with their braces treatment plan they don't seem to care whether or not your child's teeth are straighten or not they will take them off. Not to mention once you are done making all of your payments on the braces off they go!! Hundreds of dollars later I'm now having to go elsewhere to get a second opinion on his teeth. Please don't go here I would rather pay more to be treated with dignity and respect. They don't mention any of this when you sign the contract agreement and paperwork. I apologize for the lengthy review but this place... I had an appointment for all three of my kids. I will not go back as the dentist they said was good with kiddos on the spectrum charges your insurance extra for your child being on the spectrum. They called it behavior management, and my insurance didn't cover it so when I called to ask what it was about they said the dentist felt he had to use techniques on my son that he wouldn't with any other child. He didn't do anything! He literally sat there telling my son he wouldn't start until my son laid completely back. I asked so you charge extra for kids with autism?! The woman on the phone said it typically applies for any child with autism and/or adhd and it's up to the dentists discretion whether he adds it or not. She goes on to say it was weird that my insurance is charging me for that, that they typically don't. I said well my insurance doesn't find behavior management medically necessary at the dentist so they don't feel they should cover it. Then the following week I get a call from the dental office saying that my insurance is not covering his whole appointment, that he isn't covered to have routine cleanings in his plan. JUST MY SON?!? Not my other 2 kids who are on the same plan, just him. Never received anything saying he wasn't covered from my insurance except for the behavioral management code. read more

Anytime we've been here the dentist and assistants are always great with my 5 year old. They explain everything to her as they clean the teeth and what not and the wait times are usually not too bad at all compared to other offices. They keep their equipment very clean and are very gentle and my daughter loves the ceiling TVs and all the fishies. read more

Wouldn't recommend to my biggest enemy. Office staff is ignorant and belittling towards toddlers and parents. They obviously are not happy with themselves or lives to bring their misery to work and take it out on toddlers and their parents on what appears to be a daily basis based off all their reviews. They are especially not comfortable with children with special needs- not only did they treat my child cruelly, I witnessed this with others while in the office. We went to two different dentists after this place and cannot tell you how off and negative the energy is in this place compared to others. Others simply just aren't miserable hacks bringing it into their work and taking it out on their patients whom pay them in good faith for their services. This place definitely is not capable of handling special needs young children. Stay far away. This place also illegally tries to tell you you have to pay a $100 "refundable deposit" for an appointment at their Corona surgery facility. According to my insurance- them collecting that monies is illegal (regardless if it's "refundable" or not). Report to your insurance carrier, the dental board of CA and attorney general if they are committing fraud with you as well. I also heard the incompetent front desk staff discussing all the email accounts they've each made to make 5 star reviews on this place via Google reviews which I urge anyone to open a investigation with Google over this as I have (some were saying they've made 5 fake reviews / accounts, some said nearly 10, huge red flag) read more

Ortho is HORRIBLE don't do it! My son was in treatment for 1 year and they did absolutely nothing with there 15 min every 2 month appointments. They never discuss anything with you. He never even got the bottom ones on either in the year. Horrible service from staff they are rude! Especially the one who checks you in with the pink hair! And every time you go to check your kid in they ask for more money or pay town months. I wish I would have read the reviews before getting braces with them. The stuff there never tell me I have co pay for the dental service and what services is optional when I schedule the appointment! When I came for the appointment they just gave me the bill and tell me to pay on the spot and can not leave before I pay. I wanted to give a warning to anyone taking their kids to dentistry for kids in Temecula: I have been told by a previous children's dentist that laughing gas is unnecessary for simple dental procedures. My kids do not experience any anxiety and actually take dental work pretty well. Laughing gas can highten pain tolerance, but is not used for pain, primarily to lessen anxiety. When I took my son in yesterday, I told the office worker we wanted to opt out of the laughing gas, which was automatically added to my billing statement, which she than crossed off and assured me it wouldn't be used & my bill would be adjusted after the procedure. After my son's treatment was completed, I was told by staff that the dentist decided to use laughing gas and that I was being charged for it. I was never notified or asked permission during the procedure even though I had clearly told staff I didn't want it used. I understand if my son started experiencing any stress & I would of opted to use it if asked/suggested, but I was not! I clearly feel it was a mistake on their part & they still charged me for it. So many redflags, I would strongly suggest taking your children somewhere else! UPDATE* I was informed by a manager that the dentist used the laughing gas because he could not fully comprehend hand written adjustments to my son's chart and went through with my son's procedure anyway without seeking clarification from me or other staff. I was than told that I should of informed staff of their mistake & that I mistook the staffs whispering & tense body language when I was being billed as them "communicating". Please understand- it is not the use of the sedative I was worried about. Awful procedures, including them automatically adding something (a sedative that is deemed medically uncessary & in not covered by most insurance providers) to a statement without explaining its need, not thoroughly adjusting or communicating a patients needs/wants, not communicating with the parents, and than complete lack of ethical integrity is what I'm concerned about. For any parents who feels comfortable- they are currently retraining staff. I'm taking my kids elsewhere. read more

First let me start by saying the ortho department is HORRIBLE. My son started treatment here in February 2023, the front desk lady gave me a break down on how much I would pay monthly. They put the top braces on and told us to come back in April. We came back April I was told I needed to pay for April and March, no one never explained to me about having to pay for a month I did not receive service for. I told the lady at the front and she said well that's our policy and you have to pay. Very rude they aren't friendly or helpful at all. Then I had a appointment in June received a text message the day before of the time and date because they don't give reminder cards they text you the day before your appointment. So as I was heading to the office I received a message saying my appointment was for another day. I never received a call stating my appointment was rescheduled. I called the office and the person at the front told me that's been my appointment and she's not sure why I received that message. So I called to check the balance on the account and one lady told me a balance and another lady told me another. They aren't on one accord and really don't know what they are doing. I also had an emergency on the day of my son's appointment I know ortho travels to different offices on different days, I called and asked if my son could be seen on a different day at one of the other locations. They said no you have to stay at the office you receive treatment at. I was soo confused, I work for a doctors office that has multiple locations if one office doesn't have openings we try to accommodate the patient at another location. (Not this place), I want to remove my sons braces and find services elsewhere. This place is terrible please don't come here they are very rude and they all seem to hate their jobs.
