The office manager is unprofessional and needs to be trained in customer service. The dental assistant and dentist were great but having to deal with Atia (office manager) even once is a deal breaker. I wish I could give 100 stars. I have never, and I mean NEVER had a positive experience at a dentist myself. This dentist is the absolute best! We had our first visit for my one year old son & it was everything positive. Dr. Smith was so personable & welcoming!! My son did cry a little when he went back on the lap pad they have, but he didn't cry for long! Dr. Smith was still able to get in there quickly to assess what was going on. Another thing that NEVER happens?! Sweet/kind front staff! Everyone that we spoke to in that office was an absolute ray of sunshine. This dental office is top notch. I'm so glad I decided to take my daughter here for her very first dental visit. She actually enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. Amazing experience for my 3 year old and 21 month old boys! They were just amazed at this place from the second we walked in the door! They put their names on a cute board welcoming them, they had games and movies in the lobby so they were immediately excited to be there. They walked them through a cute little small door for their appt. The room where they clean their teeth was painted with an ocean scene. They loved the animals with teeth and immediately wanted to take them and brush them. The staff was so sweet to them and so patient and made it such a fun experience! My son who is three LET THEM clean his teeth, get X-rays and check his teeth! I was so impressed as this has not been our experience in the past! They let him put headphones on and watch a movie to distract him so they could clean his teeth and do X-rays! He was so calm and relaxed and wasn't scared at all. The hygienist and the doctor were so sweet and patient with him making him feel so comfortable and at ease. They gave the boys tokens to pick out a prize on our way out which was just the cherry on top for them. I literally couldn't get my 3 year old to leave. He wanted to just stay there and "not go home," (his words). So happy we found this place and cannot say enough good things. They are amazing with the kids and so patient. We found this office widely recommended on Facebook and luckily they were accepting new patients. They didn't have an opening for awhile, but they called me back the next day with a cancellation. Upon entering there was a very welcoming staff with a sign greeting us. Within 5 minutes of walking in we were already in an office. They did great with my 13 month old's first visit. Super friendly, comforting, and nice. Scheduled his next visit and was in and out very quickly. Love this office! Such a great experience for both of my children! My children's last Dentist was not all that great and we were not that happy with them, so we had been on the hunt to find them a new Dentist. My son happened to see Dr Rucker for Orthodontics and they highly recommended Temecula Pediatric Dentistry. I finally made an appointment for both of my children, which the first available was a month out, but it was definitely worth the wait. We recently moved to Temecula from San Diego and we didn't have the best experience with our daughter's new Primary doctor from CPCMG (Dr. Zaguli was the BEST). Then we had the worst experience with the new Vet for our corgis as well.... So truthfully I was expecting the same experience taking our toddler to this office. Samantha's appointment was for 4:30pm but their receptionist called the day of asking if we'd like to come in earlier. It worked out perfect and was able to get there a little before 4pm. The minute we walked in you see Samantha's name on the board by the front desk ... what a warm welcoming for my daughter. The receptionist was super friendly and Samantha was so mesmerized by the maze on the wall. Good job on the distraction for lil kiddos like mine! We didn't even wait 2 minutes till Cat came and got us. She was absolutely AMAZING with Samantha!!!! She walked us through everything she was doing and we forewarned her that Sam can be a handful and it didn't phase her at all. She was so gentle and patient with Sam. Then Dr. Smith came in and I swear he's the kiddo Dentist Whisperer.... He was AMAZING with Samantha!Importantly, he was fabulous with, us, first time parents asking a bunch of questions especially since this was Sam's very first dentist appointment. So here's the best part for Samantha ... Cat gave her a bag of goodies and a gold coin after the appointment. Sam went to the toy vending machine and placed the gold coin into the machine and got a toy! That little girl was soooooo happy! Huge kudos to Dr. Smith and his staff for making sure a child leaves the dentist appointment with an awesome experience!!!! LOVE IT! My husband and I were more than impressed and happy with the whole experience. We are so lucky to have found this dentist and will continue to take Sam here!!! An unparalleled pediatric dental experience. I thought I took my daughter to a great pediatric dentist in Palos Verdes Estates....and it was a great office.... but this one has it beat by a widespread. The most important feature is, Dr. Smith, himself. He is a gem. He explains all procedures well and is so easy to talk to about concerns. He gives all options available and is fair. It's obvious that his only concern for the patient's well-being and dental health. The same can be said percent about his incredible staff: hygienists, assistants and office personnel are all so helpful and kind ....and they spend lots of time acknowledging and validating the "little people," their patients. This is by far the best pediatric dental experience I have ever had. As an added bonus, every little detail in the office itself is made to help one's child feel comfortable, thought about and special. The dental chairs are perfectly sized and comfy, the individual in-ceiling screen with a movie of the patient's choice is a fun and a welcomed distraction, and the game room, kid sized door & prize dispensing machines for being s good patient all made my little granddaughter feel at ease, validated and made the entire first dental experience a win!! Came back for my sons 6 month exam and brought my almost 2 year old for her first exam today and they both had a wonderful time here. They didn't want to leave! I was surprised Dr. Smith was able to get near my daughter without her crying let alone look into her mouth. He was great with her. The hygienist was also great with my son. She talked to him the whole time and made his experience so much fun. He was laughing and having a blast during his cleaning. This is the best place ever. They are amazing with children and are super friendly. My son always looks forward to coming here! Even I look forward to bringing them here. I love the arcade in the waiting area because it keeps them busy while they wait although there was barely any wait time, which usually is a plus but in this case not so much for the kids! What an incredible experience!! Truly my heart is so full. We brought all 3 of our kids for the first time to the dentist to Dr Smith... twin boys age 6 with autism... and our 3yr old girl who is typical. The staff was outstanding, caring, compassionate and worked with us to help our two boys ,who didn't understand what was going on, to feel safe and comfortable. Dr Smith was great and showed empathy towards us and took his time with our family to get all three kiddos checked out. My kids have been here all their life (15&11yrs old). He is not invasive and really recommends what is needed for kids. Everyone on the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We have done all of our checkups, 1 cavity, and one abscess here. We even had an emergency with my son when he was little and he came to the office on his day off to help him. I would not go anywhere else or trust any other dentist with my kids teeth.
