Dr. Kasiya takes quality to a whole new level, she is so detailed and lets you know what is happening every step of the way. Here is where I finally learned the difference between dental assistant, hygienist and the actual dentist lol! Everyone takes their roles very seriously and they are all important to keep the operation running. You will always see everyone doing anything that needs to be done, there is no "that's not my job" type of people here and it shows! Today I had a fill and got fitted for their whitening program that I am so excited to get started. I heard about this practice from a great friend who now brings her daughter and I can say my daughter will be coming here too! If you're looking for a place that will take care of you like the neighborhood dentists used to in the 90's you're in luck because this in the place to be!

Very rude tone of voice as if HMO is not welcomed. I said that I found your office on Aetna web site and that it shows you guys are taking new patients. In fact Aetna referred me ti your office. When I phoned this office, they booked my appointment with no issue. But upon arrival, the front desk receptionist is very rude. The receptionist said that I will need to call Aetna to verify if my insurance PPO or HMO. It was such a frustrating experience. After 15 minutes, I decided to leave. It is not worth my headache. As a new patient, I did not feel welcomed but judged. I was treated and talked to with disrespect and treated like a minority and outsider. The demeanor along was filled with discrimination and discomfort. So I told them that if you do not want my business, its Ok. im happy to leave. So I left.

My experience as a new patient at Crossroads Dentistry came down to a repeated lack of respect for…read moremy time and a miserable experience in the chair on top of it. From the very first phone call, I was clear: I have real time constraints, and I did not want to split X-rays and cleaning into separate visits. I asked to do everything in one appointment. I was told that would push my start date out, and I accepted the wait to avoid multiple trips. When I arrived, I was told they couldn't do the cleaning that day and I'd have to come back -- the exact thing I'd asked to avoid. What made it worse was that I was surrounded by other patients who appeared to be getting their cleanings, so the claim that it couldn't be done didn't add up. The dentist found a few cavities, so on my way out I again asked to combine the cleaning and fillings into one visit. They agreed. Yet at that appointment, I got the cleaning, was sent back to the waiting room for fillings, waited about 20 minutes, and was then told the dentist was too backed up and I'd need to return -- either later that day or another day entirely. That's now a third trip for something I explicitly tried to schedule in one, and it doesn't even account for the deep cleaning or Invisalign still ahead. The X-ray process itself was also rough. The assistant handled the apparatus so aggressively that at points I thought my gums were bleeding from it scraping against them. On top of that, a second assistant had to come in and redo the X-rays because they weren't done correctly the first time. Between the constant rescheduling and the care I received, I won't be returning. Whether it's a scheduling problem or something else, the office here does not respect its patients' time.

Had one appointment…read morescheduled for 11:00 to repair a chipped front tooth (something I would consider rather attentive), they requested the day before to see me an hour earlier. I go in for the appointment, they don't see me until 10:30, just do an X-ray, and cut my appointment short because they had other patients to see (even though that was my initial timeslot). I said I needed it filled that day, they made me wait a whole hour after that appointment (way to value my time) to fill it (and Fleming is rude about the entire process on why I needed it fixed that day) . Another appointment was to get my top left first molar crowned after going to an endodontist for a proper root canal. I go in for the appointment and they started numbing my right side first molar. I told the assistant I was there for a crown to be placed, and they said I needed a root canal on my right side and, more or less, tried to bully me into a procedure I didn't need. The assistant stated I would be charged for the cancelled root canal and they have proof I agreed to it (and they never produced it), Fleming comes in and the assistant raises her voice stating she didn't understand why I didn't want the root canal (because it's an expensive procedure that your informing of that minute). Got my proper molar crowned, told the front to cancel my upcoming cleaning and that I wouldn't be returning. But hey, at least they have art :/

I highly recommend Somerset Dental for all the reasons below, so if you're in the market for a dentist, stop in to check out the office, meet the staff, get a quick tour. They take really good care of their patients, and provide top-notch dental care. Everyone on staff is friendly, personable and professional. It's a state-of-the-art facility, and always spotlessly clean. It's an attractive, welcoming environment. In the comfortable lobby, they have a play area for kids, a good assortment of current magazines, a coffee bar for the adults, and a mini-fridge full of mini bottled waters. Before and/or during procedures, the doctor and hygienists let you know what's happening, answer all questions, and provide any explanations you might need, so there are no unwelcome surprises. It's always been apparent to me that they care about their patients professionally and personally, and about your comfort during treatments. When I've had a dental emergency (like a broken tooth or a filling that's fallen out), Dr. Garcia has always gone out of her way to get me in and get it fixed. And I have never, ever, felt pressured to have any work done, or pressured about payments. And I appreciate that if you ask about a procedure, such as tooth whitening, or any of the many dental options they offer, they will give you a written breakdown of costs before you leave, so you can consider it at your leisure.

All I can say is WOW! This is not even my dentist office (but I will be switching to them). I had a…read moredental emergency Thursday night (leading into Labor Day weekend) as my front left veneer fell off. I called that night asking for an emergency appointment. They called me at 7 am the next morning and got me in at 11am that day (keep in mind- I am not even a patient of theirs). The dentist was great and re attached my veneer after numbing my mouth. He educated me on future complications/what to avoid/what to watch for. His assistant was wonderful. I have had no problems since (knock on wood). The next day (so Saturday), the same gal who called me at 7am called to check on me. The best customer service I think I have ever had in my life. Again, I will be switching to this office. I cannot recommend them enough.

My second appt was a cleaning also with Dr. Jessup, I was happy with that as well, they were nice and informative. And I had zero pain during the cleaning. My third appt was to get some cavities filled by Dr Jessup, I had no issues with pain before the fillings but now am in a lot of pain and it's been 4 months since then. So I was not happy with that. I went in today for a cleaning from Dr Hutchinson, she was super kind and helpful on a plan to get my tooth to no longer hurt, she said that the filling I was given needed to be fixed and that should solve the pain. Overall I would definitely reccomend the office as the desk gals and hygienists are wonderful and so is Dr Hutchinson but I wouldn't reccomend seeing Dr Jessup. Also the location is kind of interesting to get to but once you've gone once it'll be a breeze to get to again. They do have a parking lot which I appreciate, and the office is very cozy and clean inside as well!

This place used to be ABSOLUTELY wonderful and has become TERRIBLE! New management and office staff…read moreare RUDE and incompetent. I flew in for procedures that only my dentist could perform in one day and found out my dentist was no longer there when I arrived for my appointment...it had been scheduled for 8 months and the provider gone for a few...didnt get a notification or heads up although my email and address were up to date. I found out they notified other patients, just not me...great customer service, especially since I held off on this work for such a long time and even took a day off of work to fly in early specifically for this. After my experience with this staff face to face, I pin it down to incompetence or laziness. To add to that (and the purpose for this review) I received a bill for my visit FOUR MONTHS LATER....when I did my own investigation (because I truly don't trust this office staff) I saw that the insurance paid their portion of the balance in the early first week of August...the bill I received was dated 11/11...again, incompetence or laziness? I haven't lived in Kansas for many years, but always maintained my relationship with this office because of the OUTSTANDING customer service and communication. The old expectations of awesome service are gone, replaced by new, much lower standards. I would absolutely avoid if at all possible.

Still seeing Dr. Jon Willingham for my dental care, and I'm still very satisfied with the quality…read moreof care and the service at the front desk. It's a pretty busy practice, but they know my name when I come in, and I don't go that frequently (usually twice a year for cleanings and exams). I went to Dr. Willingham this afternoon for the first visit to get a crown put on an old molar that had a huge filling. The tooth finally broke (after 40 years of being filled) and a crown is necessary. Dr. Willingham seems to be very careful and thorough doing this kind of work. He's done other crowns for me, and they've all been fine and given no problems after they were put on. I tend to be a bit resistant to dental anesthesia -- it takes a while for me to become really numb, and it often takes some extra doses to do the trick. Dr. Willingham has been very patient about that, and has been very attentive to whether or not I was feeling any sensation while he's drilling away! I've also been pleased with the dental cleanings I've had here -- the hygienists are pleasant and seem to be very thorough. I tend to get gingivitis easily, but since being on a regular schedule for cleanings every six month my gums are in much better shape. My only quibble has been over billing -- at times I've gotten bills for services that should have been covered by my dental insurance. (It's compounded by the fact that I've got confusing primary and secondary dental insurance.) However, it's always been easy to straighten out any problems, and their staff is good about working with the insurance companies to get my coverage to stretch as far as it can! If you need a good dentist out in JoCo, I can recommend Dr. Willingham and Oak Park Dental.
