The receptionist, Yania, actually stayed an hour past her shift just to ensure my medications were processed before she went home--this team truly goes the extra mile. The next day, I saw Dr. Chung, who confirmed the tooth was infected. Because the area was too sensitive for an immediate extraction, he prioritized managing the infection and my pain first. Over the next four days, the communication was incredible. They use a text system that is very responsive; Dr. Chang himself even responded to my texts over the weekend while the office was closed. By the following Tuesday, the infection was down and I went in for the extraction and bone grafting. The local anesthetic was perfect--I felt low to no pain. I was sent home with clear instructions and a full 10-day recovery plan. From start to finish, this team was professional, caring, and thorough. They will set up and make a plan for your visit and then right when you get in the chair a lady will come up and tell you that you have to pay so much more out of pocket because this or that is not included but it is not what was discussed prior to the appointment or what was set up. Add on charges additional work that needs to be done all of a sudden at the same time that was not discussed prior to in order to get money out of your pocket on top of your insurance. Do not recommend no Integrity completely dishonest and lack communication. Then place the blame on all the insurance companies. Good luck." Luckily, Redlands Family Dental Care was open and accepted emergency walk ins. We were seen within thirty minutes of the accident. They were so friendly and accommodating, even speaking to the endodontist on call who made arrangements to see her first thing in the morning tomorrow. They created a temporary seal until tomorrow's appointment and made sure that my daughter was comfortable the entire time. Unfortunately I was in desperate in need of finding a dentist like him that was not just thorough but very honest with all the issues I went in to see him for. I had some work done by previous dentist that was not done like it should have been done. Bridges loose & I mean I could move it around. Another bridge which was done on my upper front that reminded me of a beaver. Dr S planned and has made suggestions that made so much more sense to than any other dentist I had seen in years. Bottom line is so much dental work performed by other dentist had to be redone because of not being done correctly & was causing me pain & discomfort. I have only seen maybe 4 dentist in 20 years and the past 3 years my issues were being patched instead of being done properly. Dr S planned & have fixed half of my problems I came in with. I went to him at the beginning of 2025 & teeth pulled, implants, filling, cleanings & now planning for this 6 teeth bridge in my upper front to be removed. I just can't explain the interest & his passion he has shown me for so many issues since I've been in his care. I am so grateful for him & his staff. His staff is so professional & personnel. I'm greeted with professionalism, no long wait times, back office staff I really like them all, Nora the financial manager has been so on top of the billing of my insurance & lastly office is very clean & organized. I know it sounds unbelievable and it is, you'd have to personally experience it yourself. This office has been 10 minutes from me for years & I stumbled on them & gave them a chance because I had gotten so distrusting of dentist. I have referred several family members & friends to him. I called my insurance to confirm that indeed they would pay for it. I then called back and told them, they said they would get a pre-authorization and would call me, never heard from them. The day before my cleaning they called to confirm my appointment and I asked if they got the pre authorization and they said they hadn't submitted it but to go ahead and come in. I told them they had 2 months to get it all they had to do was call them and confirm that the code they were using is indeed covered. They said they had to get the authorization in, which they hadn't yet submitted. I cancelled my appointment and told them that when they got there act together and got the authorization to call me to schedule the appointment. It is now June and they have not called. I will not ever go back there as I have changed dentist.
