My first appointment at West Coast Dental was in early January. I was able to get a same day appointment, which I appreciated, although the office was very busy and I wasn't able to receive treatment that same day. I'll admit that I was initially a little disappointed, as I had hoped to complete everything in one visit. I later scheduled an 8:00 a.m. appointment for January 31st and was told I would be seen and treated that day. When I returned on the 31st, I was treated by Dr. Pham, and Esmeralda assisted me with billing and benefits explanations. This is where my perspective completely changed. It quickly became clear why the office is so busy. Dr. Pham did an outstanding job, he was empathetic, kind, respectful, and took the time to thoroughly educate me about my treatment. Esmeralda was equally wonderful, clearly explaining what was covered by insurance, what was not, and reviewing my options without any pressure. Together, they made the experience genuinely positive. Fast forward to today, when I returned for my wisdom teeth extraction. Once again, Esmeralda was welcoming and helpful, and this time I was treated by Dr. Nguyen, the oral surgeon. She was incredibly efficient and skilled, the procedure was quick, smooth, and completely painless. I was honestly amazed at how comfortable the entire experience was. And so appreciative her and the dental assistant (whose name I forgot. Sorry) truly cared and eased my nerves. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the level of care, professionalism, and consideration shown to patients at West Coast Dental. I will absolutely continue coming here and will gladly recommend this office and its staff to anyone looking for excellent dental care. read more

Me, wife, and mother in law started coming here when they first opened. When they first started they were great. Minimal wait time and friendly. Now, they are still friendly but they're always either understaffed or overbooked. Last two times my mother-in-law has come. She's had to wait two hours less time. My wife was here. They had to wait three hours the last two times I had to wait two or 2 1/2 hours.. mind you we always have an appointment scheduled for early in the morning for a simple . This time around, I called days prior to ensure they would be fully staffed for my appointment and that I wouldn't have to wait long. They ensured that it would be a quick appointment and that they're fully staffed now. I let them now I had an appointment elsewhere later in the day. They said I should be done before then. Long story short, I woke up early, got here on time, and was not seen for the cleaning. I ended up having to leave so I wouldn't be late for my next appointment. So please plan ahead and expect to wait 2-3hrs after your appointment to be seen. (Front staff remains nice, just the waiting thing) read more

I'm a first time patient here. I have an HMO which covers cleanings (100%), Cavities-Amalga 1 and Cavities Amalga 2 (100%) covered, and Periodontal scaling with a small copay($20). Before leaving their I was told that on my next visit I will have a balance of $$$ because my insurance does not cover my cavity. The personnel is terrible but the Drs. were great. I really liked Dr. Bell but I am rethinking this dental practice because they have absolutely no customer service and the dentist is scary enough. This post in regards to the West Coast Dental Corp. received a call yesterday from Adolf regarding me receiving a check from my dental insurance companies. Mind you, I have an HMO & PPO. He stated that I would be receiving a check for an out of network dentist they have at their Rialto location. First of all, what kind of crookedness is happening? Why would I receive a check if I have 2 insurances? Let me back track- I was told this dentist was out of network... who allows a professional, mind you an MD, to not have full privileges in their corporation and practice on us patients? Ridiculous! The advice from Adolf-" When you get the check in your name, deposit it in to your bank, then call West Coast Dental to make the payment? If you don't want to call in, mail us the payment? Excuse me!! Are you providing an envelope with stamp? We are in 2024! Why does the credentialing process for West Coast dental take so long!! Why is a provider practicing without proper credentialing and part of the "network"?Are they allowing providers to take care of us who have not fully received the appropriate credentials to practice in the state of CA? They Are All about getting you in that chair to collect money !!!! You're on your own after that !! I had a problem with my procedure an hour after I left their office , called their emergency number because they were and got no return Call that day or the next day , called corporate , 3 weeks later still no call ... I had to drive down to the office and still no call back from corporate .. they also charged me for worked I hadn't even got done and took them almost 3 months to give me my money back ... Update .... I just went to another dentist and had a complete exam with x-rays and they said I don't have any cavities where West Coast Dental insinuated that I had six cavities. Now I wouldn't be shocked if the other new dentist that I went to said I had four or five , but zero???? that shows you right there that West Coast Dental is all about money, even if causes you physical pain for the procedures they are recommending and money out of your pockets... They are actually even ripping off your insurance for whatever portion that they are paying to them. I wouldn't believe a thing they say. Get a second opinion!! This place is horrible just like their sister location Magic land. Every time I schedule an appointment they call me back and say my appointment is cancelled due to them over booking and them being behind. They also like to give all the kids laughing gas and make a big deal if you don't want that for your child. Growing up we never got that, just regular numbing and which my kids sit still with. Now this location canceled and said they can't even see my kids because they only see kids 12 and over and don't give laughing gas. When a few months ago I went into the location and they asked if my kids get laughing gas and I told them no that my kids are really good with only numbing so the girls in the office said oh ok so yes they can be seen here. Now I make an appointment for today at 3:30, and five minutes later another associate calls me to cancel my appointment because they are "busy". I told her I'm upset because they cancel every appointment so now she tells me well they can't come here because of their age. And then refers me to Moreno Valley, so rude like why would I drive 40 minutes out my way because I told you I'm upset about the cancellation and now you want to really me upset. And also watch your billing they changed my insurance for laughing gas when they did not get it. People want to work with the public but don't have the customer service skills that go along with it. Shame on your company. And remove your posters on your windows with all the kids that look wayyyyyy under 12 that say welcome new patients. Yea right false advertisement! read more

This place is terrible. They charged $1000 just for an xray... I came in for wisdom teeth pain and they didn't help in regard to that at all. Instead they tried selling me gum protection and braces rather than addressing the issue. They wanted to run my credit to get me "pre-approved" for all these add ons but didn't address my main complaint. Don't go here u less you want to be scammed. read more
