My whole life I have been so scared of needles and so I rarely visited the dentist for treatment but knew I needed to go. I had a big gap in the middle of my front two teeth that always annoyed me when I looked in the mirror. I had no idea what my options were to fix this but I just wanted the gap closed as it always made me feel self-conscious. Dr. May suggested veneers to close the gap and made me feel at ease during the whole process. I spoke to her about my past dental experiences and she offered me a number of sedation options for treatment. I had the Penthrox before my treatment and it helped me calm my nerves - and I didn't feel a thing. I am so glad I decided to overcome my dental fear as now I can enjoy my new smile not having to worry about my gappy teeth. I visited Dental Boutique as I had previous cosmetic work done at another dental practice but was unhappy with how it made me look. I did not feel that the work performed suited my facial features and personality characteristics, as my teeth were too big and bulky and were in disproportion to her face. This made me very self-conscious about my smile as I felt that the teeth were not my own and unnatural-looking. At first I had hesitations about redoing my dental work due to my past experience. I visited Dental Boutique because I really wanted to fix my front teeth with veneers. After researching a few dental practices I felt that Dental Boutique looked like the best practice for me. I had braces when I was younger but I did not wear my retainers and so my two front teeth started to overlap over the years. I was unhappy with this and colour of of my teeth so decided to finally do something about it. I love to smile and laugh but I was afraid to because I felt too self-conscious of my crooked teeth. Dental Boutique helped me realise what my smile could be, and since treatment I feel a lot more confident and no longer afraid to take photos and smile.
