I have now waisted my lunch hour. They have called in several people while I sit here who walked in after me. Not a good impression. I ask about how much longer and they are finishing a client. Then why have others gone back and why move up my appointment. The staff is nice but they need to get scheduling better.

We called Aspen and they gave us an appointment three days out and left him in horrible pain. The appointment date finally arrived. We went to Aspen to have the tooth pulled and there was no one there except for a technician who told us that all the dentists had gone home which meant we had to get another dentist. Luckily, Empire helped and extracted the tooth. Empire is great! If they had my insurance coverage ,I would certainly use them for all dentistry. Aspen called us about a week after appointment date wanting to service us. Maybe one day they will suffer with a toothache as my spouse did. I will NEVER, NEVER do (or try to do) business with Aspen again. They are horrible and the appearance of their location was filthy. I feel that this incident was meant to be as I've heard many bad things about their service.

I paid for all of my dental work up front at this time. On my first visit I waited 3 hours and by 500 pm they took me back. The dentist did not come back to my cubicle. I went to the front desk and there sat the dentist so after some heated words I made another appointment to have my 1st extraction done. On my 2nd visit, it took 1.5 hours to extract my tooth. My post-op instructions said to go back 7-10 days to have the sutures removed. I made an appointment 9 days out to have this done. On the day before, I received a call from them saying that their policy had changed and I would have to pay an additional $25.00 as a post-op fee to have my sutures removed. This fee was not on my original care plan cost and was a new policy. I told them I would not pay the additional fee because it was not on my initial care plan AND it was an after the fact new policy. They canceled my appointment. They said they would give me a refund after several call between myself and the co-founder, Sabrina Blue. but that I was being discharged as a patient. That was in May. I went back to my old dentist the next day and there were no sutures in my socket. The sutures were dissolvable. I put in a consumer complaint with the Attorney General of Tennessee in late June about them not refunding my fees AND them charging an additional $25.00 as a post-op fee to all these poor people to remove something that has dissolved. Finally, I received my refund almost 2.5 months after I was told I would receive it but the issue about them charging for removal of "dissolvable " sutures was NOT satisfactorily addressed The fact that they are charging for work to remove something that does not exist is an abominable thing to be doing to poor people who do not have much money. Tomorrow I go back to my original dentist to have my other tooth extraction and it is going to cost me more than 3 times more to have it done. This is not a professional place to go to for dental work, it's economical(cheap) but you get what you pay for. Be weary of this place.

I went in for an exam to determine the treatment plan for my work. I was quoted almost $3000.00 after insurance for the work that needed to be completed. I paid all of that up front and was told by the woman handing me the bill that I would actually most likely be refunded a substantial portion of the bill because they over charged me on purpose in case more work was discovered that needed treatment later. I had little expectation that I would actually get money back but I was happy that it was a possibility and even more happy that I felt as though I didn't need to worry about payments. I had been saving up money for this for over a year. I was scheduled for two sessions to complete all the work,. After the first session. A few of my cavities were overfilled and caused pain and discomfort. I explained this during my second session and asked for it to be taken care of, the dentist likely forgot but there were still multiple teeth after the second session that still were in pain and overfilled. A crown that was made was also massively oversized, the other crown had to be delayed because it was so oversized that it couldn't be placed. I came back for another visit to get that crown placed later and to have more of the previous work already done be fixed again. I had to call off work and lose money in order to do this because I thought everything would be done in two visits as I discussed with the dentist. At the end of it all, everything was taken care of, the dentist did not charge me for the work that had to be fixed. I'm not upset about those issues. Nothing ever goes perfectly and that's okay. The problem is that months later into the new year I was sent a bill for over $800 dollars that I owed. When I attempted to explain I was told that I should have paid more for my services than what they billed me and said that I was getting "free" treatment, the reality is that I was coming back to the dentist to fix the errors from the first two visits. That's not a discount, that's hours of my life that I lost and money lost from not being able to be at work to take care of what was supposed to be done the first time. As of writing this, I've been in contact with Elite Dental trying to dispute the bill and understand where the charges are coming from because the only billing information that I'm being given is missing a lot of important information. CDT codes are not present, there are multiple charges that have no explanation, insurance write offs, adjustments, it doesn't explain what charges are not covered, or what charges amount to the remaining balance. I've been sending emails promptly and then do not hear back anything for days at a time. Communication is extremely one sided and when I finally get someone they basically disregard what I am saying and just tell me that I need to pay the entire bill. Finally, what lead me to writing this review, I was still awaiting a reply on the same questions I've been asking for weeks now. They sent me an email saying that my account had been sent to a new "department" and gave me a number with no other information. I called the number and found that they had referred my bill to a collections agency while I'm in still in the process of working through the bill. All of this has been incredibly difficult, they are not communicating effectively and refuse to find common ground or understanding with my perspective on the problem. I paid a very large sum of money upfront with the express understanding that this was the FINAL bill from Elite Dental and was told that I would most likely be refunded a portion of it, only to find out 3-5 months after service that they want me to suddenly pay over $800 out of the blue and they refuse to explain exactly why I owe this and for what specific treatments. Making it impossible for me to communicate with my insurance to ensure that I am getting the proper coverage from them.

I went to get my back tooth extracted (#30) was given pain medication with nothing for infection. After the extraction, the place where my tooth was extracted pained me terribly. Called twice that week was told they'll reach out to the doctor to see if I should come in or be prescribe infection medication. Here it is almost 2 weeks later and no one has reached out to me with a solution. This is the worst dentist office I have ever experience in my whole entire life, so save your money and go somewhere else where you are valued and cared for.
