I had an appointment for 12:30, they called and asked me to come in for 11:30 appt. I show up 15 minutes early like asked. I am here at 11:15. I don't get called back till after 12. I have now waisted my lunch hour. They have called in several people while I sit here who walked in after me. Not a good impression. I ask about how much longer and they are finishing a client. Rating: minus zero. My spouse had a severe toothache with a swollen jaw. There was only a fraction of a tooth left so we knew it had to be pulled. We called Aspen and they gave us an appointment three days out and left him in horrible pain. The appointment date finally arrived. We went to Aspen to have the tooth pulled and there was no one there except for a technician who told us that all the dentists had gone home which meant we had to get another dentist. Luckily, Empire helped and extracted the tooth. Empire is great! If they had my insurance coverage ,I would certainly use them for all dentistry. Aspen called us about a week after appointment date wanting to service us. Maybe one day they will suffer with a toothache as my spouse did. I will NEVER, NEVER do (or try to do) business with Aspen again. They are horrible and the appearance of their location was filthy. I feel that this incident was meant to be as I've heard many bad things about their service. read more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! If I could rate less than 1 star I would. My experience was in 2018 but still relevant since it was the Dr Dudley who is still there. My state dental insurance is changing companies, again, so I was looking at in-network dentist today and most are from Aspen Dental. That means I probably won't be singing up for my work dental insurance again and is also the reason I was looking on Yelp for Aspen Dental today. After seeing so many bad reviews I decided to leave a review myself. In 2018 I went to Aspen for one minor cavity and they kept trying to get me to put a crown on the tooth but it didn't need one. The whole visit took 3.5 hours, I ended up with 3 fillings instead of just one, and none of the 3 stayed in more than a week. Dr Dudley told his assistant I usually just glob on the filling and then use the drill to shape it. Dr Dudley and his assistant literally ran into each other 3 times while working on me and once was gone out of the room for over an hour. I sit there thinking I was being worked on by 2 of the 3 stooges. At the time I was 58 and it was and still is the WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE. This has to be the one of the worst experiences in my life ! Starting in October they started tooth extractions to make ready for set of dentures , first the extractions where extremely painful compared to past extractions, then came bone spurs which is common but not as many as me not only painful but huge knots I requested removal but all that was done was file the sharp points off and left the spurs in there I was back and forth every few days with no relief . Now tie for temporary dentures till final set in 6 months . This set of teeth looked baby teeth and didn't come close to fitting they wouldn't stay in no way possible to eat with these now back and forth weekly also gums still painful because of the bone spurs left in my gums , time passes by still no teeth finally I requested another set guess what they didn't work either first noticed that they didn't match the shape and size of the others when both were supposedly made for the same mouth also teeth was crooked in booth sets weeks past and no help the set wasn't able to be used either by now it's been nearly 6 months since I have eaten solid food . Now time for final set and they didn't work either also had some teeth crooked no way could I even talk or eat with these so l asked for my money good look getting back the full amount like their ad says ! I had to go to another dentist first I had to have oral surgery to remove burn spurs left by Aspen before I could get dentures to fit ! This by far is the worst dental experience I've ever had. I needed crowns and first thing I asked was do they do sedation cause my body doesn't take the shots well, they wear off fast. I was told you won't feel anything. First let me stress-they do NOT do sedation. They lied! They are not professional and don't listen. They had to give me 16 shots the first visit for the temporary crowns, which by the way hurt like hell. Crowns didn't fit well and I had sensitivity the entire 4 weeks waiting for the permanent ones, plus a couple broke. When I went in for the permanent ones, they didn't fit either-go figure! I can't feel my back teeth at all. The dentist instead of filing the crowns down wanted to file my teeth down to fit them-no! Your error and I was pissed that I had to pay 3k to be treated like crap! I am going to a new dentist that I know does sedation for a consult as I believe they will tell me what I already know this was shotty work and they need to be replaced. Since having these things on my back teeth hurt, I'm still sensitive to any fluids or heat, and they are the ugliest teeth you've ever seen for costing 3k! read more

I have never experienced a very racist place in my life. My mother barely speaks English. I, on the other hand, speak fluent English. Six months ago, I took my mother in for oral surgery and for a new set of dentures. It was my fault for not reading the paperwork. I put my trust in the lady who explained to us that we were paying for oral surgery, basic dentures, and a premium denture. The lady who did my mother's paperwork explained that she would first have her oral surgery, and after the surgery, the surgeon would provide a temporary denture before the actual premium denture. We took her word for everything without reading the paper. I honestly believe that people in Jackson, TN are church community that wouldn't screw anyone over. Long story short, my mother had her oral surgery. The surgeon removed 15 of her teeth. Later, I was told by the surgeon that she is wearing a temporary denture. Mom needs to come backin three months for hee post follow-up and the premium dental impression. A month later, her gum heals, I called to schedule an appointment for the post follow-up oral surgery. I was told that it's too early for the impression because her gums have not fully healed. Fast forward, I forgot to schedule an appointment for my mother's dental impression for her premium denture. My mother didn't want to wait for my help, so she went in person to schedule the appointment. She said those people treated her like she was invisible because of her broken English. She was told that she never paid for the basic denture and that she only paid for the premium denture. I did some digging and tried to resolve the issues with Aspen over the phone. After being on the phone for nearly 30 minutes, the billing department hung up on me. I immediately called back, but it went to their voicemail. I called again the next day, and it went to their voicemail again. I have called Aspen Dental six times since we got disconnected, and each call went straight to voicemail. I have a very busy schedule, so I couldn't go in person to Aspen to speak for my mother. My mother grew tired of waiting, so she went in again and said, "All I want right now is to have my denture adjusted." Aspen refused to adjust her Denture. Aspen failed to provide my mom with a post-surgery follow-up, failed to adjust her denture, and provided false information about the type of dentures my mom paid for. My mom does not use Medicare or Medicaid. She pays for everything with her own money, only to be misled, mistreated, and discriminated against because of her broken English. We're Americans! We pay our taxes just like everyone in Jackson, TN. So, we would appreciate it if the workers treated my mother with respect. If you're going to pay cash like my mother, don't go to Aspen! Aspen has the worst customer service for people who speak little English! Plus, be sure to not take any of their words! Lesson learned read every document before signing! People lied! I got the best dentures ever there. At first the dentist that ran everything pulled some teeth. But the next time I went to get a tooth pulled, this young woman who must have just gotten out of dental school! I've had a lot of extractions but this woman felt like she was killing me. I have been trying to get dentures for going on 1yr and two months. During this time a total of 12 impressions were done. After I complained to the Dentist he reassured my that he would personally would see this through. He scheduled me an appointment for two weeks after that. When was seen by him two weeks later he asked me if he had seen me in the past! WTF! My time and transportation cost are now exceeding the cost of my dental bill. I finally got my dentures in September of last year and they are still not fit to wear. I would not recommend them to anyone my vet provides better service for my dog. read more

This is one of the least professional offices in our area (Jackson, TN.). They take your money upfront for work they haven't even performed yet and deliver mediocre service. Can't believe they are still in business. Staff members won't return calls and avoid making things right even when it's obvious their staff aren't acting professional and treat customers with disrespect. Recently we took our 86 year old mother here for new dentures. After two complete sets and many months later she was tired and worn out with the experience. We paid over $3000 for a set of dentures that she still cannot wear. This has been the worst experience she's ever had. These people obviously don't have a clue as to what they are doing. I am so angry as this poor excuse for a dental business. Not once did she ever see a real dentist the whole time she was going there. I had an 8 o'clock appointment with Aspen dental on January 8, 2024 and when I walked in they asked me to check in and I did all of that and the lady told me that they do take my insurance but I had to pay $20 out-of-pocket. I have dentaquest with my health insurance and I tried to explain the lady that I have insurance and all of that and she basically told me that if I didn't have the $20 then I was going to have to leave the dental Facility. she was in my opinion very rude to me. She did not listen to absolutely anything I had to say m.. and when I made the appointment, Aspen dental told me that they did free consultation, no money out-of-pocket and they were going to help me with my treatment plan, due to my lack of inability to eat, and chew my food and basically kicked me out of the facility because I didn't have the money for x-rays when I had the insurance and the dental plan to provide for me to be seen... I will never again be coming back to this place if I had the chance to give it a zero out of five starts I would. and never recommend this place to anyone. terrible experience and it was my first time going there. if I was able to get the ladies name I would've posted it. I left that place in tears. They didn't care how much I was in pain. They didn't care what I was going through. They cared about if I had the money. Every experience I had with this company left me feeling like it was super professional. Dr. Dudley was my dentist, and as long as I'm in the area...he'll be my go to guy. I was attempting to find a new dentist after moving to the area. I am expecting so I did not want to do x-rays for the health and safety of the baby. This dentist requires x-rays and requires a doctor's note to be cleared for x-rays. Needing a doctor's note tells me x-rays are not 100% safe--or else they wouldn't be trying to shift liability to a doctor's office. They would not work with me at all and demanded I do an x-ray that even they deem isn't completely safe. They do not work at all with pregnant women. read more

I was told that I needed an extraction and had to pay a deposit to schedule. I changed my mind and requested a refund on 10/01/2019 I was told it would be 7-10 business days to receive it.Called on 11/18/2019 to inquire about the refund,asked to speak to Bethany the billing manager. I was told she was at lunch they would have her call me. I called back 45 minutes after her supposedly time back she was on the phone.1.5 hours I called she was with a patient.1.5 hours later she wasn't in her office and was told that she would get another sticky note to call me this was the first one I had talked to. I called at 1000 am Bethany was now at the bank.I then asked for Bethany's supervisor was told she was a traveling supervisor and they didn't know how to get in touch with her. I was placed on hold someone named Tania came on line and stated ; The problem was the bank rejected the refund? I use 2 separate cards that day both rejected in 2 separate active checking Account?they had no trouble getting the money immediately. They didn't even have the decency to let me know that there was a problem.I asked when can I get my refund,was told by Friday they submit a refund ticket to corporate then in 7-14 days this time they will attempt to place it back On my card,if not they will start the process over and in 7-14 days submit a check. Dr. Ross was very unprofessional. Making remarks about patient during procedure with nurse. Nurse mentioned she "needed to get out of here" and wanted the procedure to be moved along more quickly. Procedure was performed in a private room but the door was left open and other patients walking by could look in and see what was going on. However, front desk was wonderful. read more

They are just trying to "sell" dentistry. Tried to sell me products I didn't need. Overcharged me triple what the cost of a normal cleaning price is because they aid I had a light case of gingivitis. When I called them on it, they got very defensive and tried to give me the run around on pricing. read more
