He's got a lot of experience, and it's certainly true that there is no substitute for experience. He recently put a bridge in for me - I didn't know what to expect, and he explained everything in great deal. He's also got a great personality and a great sense of humor. The bridge is working out great, and his staff is also excellent, professional, kind, and very friendly. I recommend Dr. George Kourakin very highly. Thank you Dr. Kourakin. Seymour Wasserstrum

Save your money from this scam of a practice. One of the worst experiences. I went to My Dentist a year ago for a root canal. Instead of pulling the tooth, they said they wanted to try the root canal instead (more money for them). I went along with it, after the first operation, there was pain and tenderness, but that's expected. They stopped and said we can continue another time. I went along with it again. After three visits...I was getting fed up. They finally finished the first part of the canal. Now I had to go for a crown, but they wait until the end of the third visit to send me to a gum doctor to extend my gum line because there wasn't enough tooth, because they didn't pull it! But it's okay, because they were going to make more money. The gum doctor said it would be 6 months until I could be seen. I am now out $657. My insurance benefits were depleted, and I now only have a temporary. I went to a new dentist today, they say that the My Dentist, left old tissue in the socket which is now causing an infection. Please please please, do not go to this dentist. Save your money from this scam of a practice.

HORRIBLE!!!!! ZERO STARS. They do horrible work!!!! You have to continue to follow-up with repairs…read morefrom work they have done. I have now spent over $12,000.00 in their office in less than a year on root canals and crowns (with INSURANCE). Both crowns have fallen out in less than 6 months (2). They are the wrong shade and do not match the other teeth (very white and obvious). They recemented them back in (charged and billed insurance/running up my benefits for the year on work that was already paid for, upwards of 4,000 a tooth). I could not have booked an appointment due to their cancellation policy. Mind you, I spoke directly to the office and note my chart that I had not cancelled my appointment and yet they continue to state I did not cancel within 48 hours of said appointment and therefore they BANNED me from making appointments. So, here I am with a mouth full of VERY EXPENSIVE, mismatched, broken teeth, in pain, and cannot even make an appointment for repairs. I can only call on Wednesday's and hope for a cancellation. My last visit to Crescent resulted in a perfectly good lower molar that was drilled down and cracked in half, while the dentist was recementing my upper molar crown back in. So now, another dental repair to a good tooth that is now broken. I have since obtained a new dentist, reputable, reasonably priced, and in the process of having the $12k worth of work done at Crescent Dental redone as the new dental provider stated they did a root canal and crown on the upper molar that is not viable. I need to start an implant process ($6k) to replace the unnecessary $5k upper molar that Crescent did in March of 2026, basically now an $11,000k tooth, not to mention the cost of the office visits for repairs. I was informed by new dentist in June that the tooth should never have had a root canal and crown as it would not have worked. Money thrown away on a useless, expensive crown. I have reached out to my dental insurance as Crescent was submitting claims that were not valid, such as a mouth guard, office visits, xrays, etc. They are investigating Crescent Dental for false claims. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CRESCENT DENTAL or any of its affiliates as they are shady. They do not do good work, cause more harm than good, unprofessional, rude, and simply looking to get paid. Yes, they are more expensive than a regular dentist as he is a Priemer Dentist, meaning he submits claims at the highest billing rate and you get stuck paying more than other dentist and runs down your allotted benefits for the year. It is unethical. MEDICAL MALPRACTICE!!!!

If you're considering switching to Arthur Family Dental, don't. This dentist personally offended me…read moreand was unable to fill my cavity, even after two visits totaling 1.5 hours. On my first visit, there was some confusion on their end for why I was there so they were not prepared to fill my cavity. Ok, sure, some confusion and delay is fine and not worth getting up in arms over. And while I found the mix-up irritating (especially because I had to go during work hours so I lost an hour of pay) I did find the dentist to be pleasant and helpful. He even called later to assure us the appointment wouldn't cost us anything and apologized for the confusion. We rescheduled for two weeks out. On my second visit, however, the staff was not as friendly. I immediately felt like I was being given the cold shoulder. The dentist was not pleasant and his attitude was off putting. He made a comment about the fact that my mom had called to ask about the cost of the appointment as if that was somehow bad that my mom had called instead of me. He did not really explain what cavity he was/wasn't going to fill (as there was some debate over that) and then told me they didn't have laughing gas for the procedure. Instead of offering an alternative or trying to work with me, he suggested I should get a different dentist and said that my last dentist, who used laughing gas often, "catered to cowards." While he said that didn't mean he was calling me a coward, it really felt like that's what he meant. I wasted 1.5 hours in this dentist office, not to mention time in between appointments, only to not get my cavity filled and now I have to find a new dentist. I lost 1.5 hours worth of pay at work for this guy to belittle me. I really feel personally offended by this experience and would not recommend.
