During my procedure, Dr. Gilberg and her hygienist that was assisting, made it as worry-free as possible. I was able to wear headphones and they even tapped on my shoulder during the numbing process to distract me-which I thought was a unique and thoughtful gesture. Dr. Gilberg also makes herself available for any questions or concerns post-procedure. The office itself was also fantastic. Only after the procedure--when it could no longer be reversed--did I realize that I may have been misled. This is especially troubling because many patients depend on medical offices to help them navigate complex insurance information. Not everyone has the ability to fully understand these details on their own, and they place trust in professionals to guide them honestly. Being left in a difficult financial or medical situation because of unclear or misleading information is unacceptable. What has made matters worse is the lack of professionalism afterward. When I tried to get clarification or assistance, communication was cut off. Instead of receiving support, I was passed around, with different individuals blaming one another and directing me elsewhere. Overall, this experience has seriously damaged my trust in this office. Patients deserve transparency, accountability, and professional communication--especially when it comes to medical care and financial responsibility. I would like to update my review regarding this matter. After ongoing back-and-forth communication, the office manager stated that he would submit an appeal to my insurance company due to the miscommunication that occurred on their end. After some time passed, I contacted the office to follow up and was told that appeals can take time to be reviewed. However, when I contacted my insurance company directly, I was informed that no appeal had been submitted by the office. I attempted to follow up again with the office manager but did not receive a response. I reached out multiple times by phone and email, but it seemed my messages were not getting through. When I eventually heard back, I was again told that an appeal had been submitted. Despite this, my insurance company continued to confirm that nothing had been received. They also advised that the information provided to me by the office regarding my coverage was inaccurate when I questioned the details. They also relayed that no pre-authorization was done as well. At this point, my concerns remain unresolved, particularly regarding the repeated inconsistencies and misinformation I have been given. I am still seeking clear answers as to why this occurred.

Please stop contacting people without all the details for which you are charging balances for. It sounded like a full scam. Aside from that, I complained about the dental assistant that did the service to my daughter. He was unprofessional and decided to talk about the medical treatment directly to my 14 year old daughter as if I wasn't there.
