To start I googled who has a good dental office that would take my insurance…read more This office came with a good rating. I am very glad that I went with my gut . They are very detailed in what they say they are going to do and very very detaied in what they do. They are very nice to work with and very attentive to make sure they answer any question you have. The group at Pitman Dental work as a team. I am glad I made the choice to become a patient at Pitman Dental.

I am very concerned about the way this office handled my care. When patients seek help--especially…read morefor medical issues--they rely on the staff to be knowledgeable and to clearly understand policies, including insurance coverage. That's part of their responsibility. During my visit, I asked many questions to make sure I fully understood the situation. Unfortunately, I now feel that I was told what I needed to hear just to get me back into the office for treatment. Only after the procedure--when it could no longer be reversed--did I realize that I may have been misled. This is especially troubling because many patients depend on medical offices to help them navigate complex insurance information. Not everyone has the ability to fully understand these details on their own, and they place trust in professionals to guide them honestly. Being left in a difficult financial or medical situation because of unclear or misleading information is unacceptable. What has made matters worse is the lack of professionalism afterward. When I tried to get clarification or assistance, communication was cut off. Instead of receiving support, I was passed around, with different individuals blaming one another and directing me elsewhere. Overall, this experience has seriously damaged my trust in this office. Patients deserve transparency, accountability, and professional communication--especially when it comes to medical care and financial responsibility. I would like to update my review regarding this matter. After ongoing back-and-forth communication, the office manager stated that he would submit an appeal to my insurance company due to the miscommunication that occurred on their end. After some time passed, I contacted the office to follow up and was told that appeals can take time to be reviewed. However, when I contacted my insurance company directly, I was informed that no appeal had been submitted by the office. I attempted to follow up again with the office manager but did not receive a response. I reached out multiple times by phone and email, but it seemed my messages were not getting through. When I eventually heard back, I was again told that an appeal had been submitted. Despite this, my insurance company continued to confirm that nothing had been received. They also advised that the information provided to me by the office regarding my coverage was inaccurate when I questioned the details. They also relayed that no pre-authorization was done as well. At this point, my concerns remain unresolved, particularly regarding the repeated inconsistencies and misinformation I have been given. I am still seeking clear answers as to why this occurred.

From the moment I walked in the door everyone was extremely welcoming. My initial visit was just to see if Dr Cregar could extract the tooth given its location & complexity. He is a personable guy that you can easily relate to. After the exam, he made some adjustments on the tooth to make it more comfortable until extraction. They were able to get me in quickly and of course I was a bit uneasy. Dr Cregars assistant was very calming and struck up a pleasant conversation. They made me as comfortable as possible & continuously asked how I was doing. Everything went well and I look forward to the ongoing care of my teeth with Dr Cregar & his professional team. Thank you Dr Cregar for your pleasent atmosphere & adept services. Joe M.

A dentist in Harrison Twp. told me that I needed two root canals and two crowns. After reading these reviews, I went to see him. He told me that my teeth were not anywhere near needing root canals. I love his honesty, his work and his prices. I don't have the best dental insurance. Find him was a blessing to us. I'm hoping this review helps others. ps....The other dentist will be hearing from me !

I honestly can't say enough great things about my experience here. I Hate the dentist, I mean…read morereally hate it. I had some bad dental work done a few years ago and I ran and never looked back. Of course, I had a terrible tooth ache last night and my 4 year old has her dance recital on Saturday. Reluctantly, I called dr Cetel's Office at the urging of my mom (my dad goes there) and it was the best decision ever. Theresa, who handles the appointments and insurance was amazing. She was so nice and immediately made me feel at ease. I called at 3pm and she got me in to the office at 7:20 the same night. The office itself is not the most modern office you will ever go to, but to me, the care is much more important and the techniques and tools are clearly modern. I was escorted back to a room where I met Patty, who was assisting the dr that day. She was so sweet. She talked to me the whole time and instantly made me feel better. They took an X-ray, dr Cetel came in and said I needed a root canal and offered to do it right then. It was amazing. He's good with a needle, so I didn't feel a thing. He did the entire procedure and placed a temporary crown in the same visit. Patty even gave me packets of cement in case the temporary comes out. She was so nice. By the time I was done(they stayed well past Office closing to finish), Theresa had my next appointment and was quick to tell me to take Motrin or Tylenol before the numbing medicine wears off!! Dr. Cetel called me this morning, to make sure I was comfortable. I had a great experience with the office and I will definitely be back. Thanks again!
