She originally took her car in for a battery replacement, which she was charged what we believe was an excessive amount for. Right after the battery was replaced, her air conditioner stopped working. While we can't say for certain the two were related, the timing was very concerning. She returned to H2H and paid another $500 to have the A/C repaired. Now the car is experiencing electrical issues, and when she brought it back, her concerns were dismissed. Instead of looking at the car or opening the hood, she was told the problems were caused by the heat and "crystals." Regardless of the cause, every customer deserves to be treated with respect, especially someone who is disabled and living on a fixed income. My mother left feeling ignored, dismissed, and taken advantage of. We expected honest service and professionalism, but unfortunately that was not our experience. I would NOT recommend this shop!

A friend and co-worker recommended Todd to me after I told him my son's brakes on his 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid were very squeaky (a car that I've found mechanics in the past wont touch due to it being a older Hybrid), so I reached out via phone/text and told him what was wrong, he recommended I get brake pads and told me I could drop the car off and he'd get it done first thing in the morning; soon as he got it up, he had the brake pads done very quickly, sent me photos and videos of how bad my current brake pads were and sent me video of how bad my rear bearings were and walked me through the parts I needed to get and was able to get me in for an appt the very next morning. Once complete, he took the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong and why it was so important to get it fixed asap. I let Todd know from the get go how little i knew about cars and he took the time to show me and explain everything to me in a way that made it easy for me to understand. I got there knowing I probably needed new brake pads, but Todd took the time to inspect everything while he was in there to make sure nothing else was wrong and my son got the car safely back on the road. Once we picked up the car, the squeaking of the brakes was gone and the loud noise which apparently was coming from his bearings/hubs being so rusted/fused together was now gone as well. They were able to repaint the trim and I took the opportunity to add a custom touch to my interior by changing the OEM silver color to a nice tan color. A few days later I was able to pick up the trim piece. The shape and texture of the dash piece did not allow for the painted trim to be 100% precisely masked so Excel offered to touch up some areas of overspray later in the week when the paint was completely dry. I wound up just taking care of the overspray myself and I even added some pinstripes with some vinyl wrap. I'm happy over all with the job excel did was glad they were able to help me out as quite a few shops refused to accept the job.
