This review has been edited: Beware!!! This shop is not familiar with Teslas and ours was definitely a guinea pig. Didn't know how to properly charge the car. He made multiple calls to us to figure out how to charge at the beginning, which should have been a red flag. Fortunately, he didn't mess up the plug. Overall, body work was okay at best. I had a front bumper repair which cost almost 6k. However, my largest complaint is that communication was extremely poor. When I would call for updates, would constantly get brushed off, stating that parts were on their way, delivery was delayed, this went on for weeks and we were very understanding throughout the process. Based on the dates of an invoice I requested, parts were not ordered until weeks after car was dropped off. Our car was at the shop for over 50 days. Right off the bat, I noticed that Skot would prefer to speak with my husband, rather than me. Even though I picked this shop and brought the car in for an estimate initially. My husband was away for work during most of this time and I'm close by. Another red flag, especially as a woman! Skot allowed us to pick up the car before finishing job up due to the paint on our bumper needing to cure 30 days before wrapping it (which he mentioned several times, that he did as a favor to us.) I brought the car back to another business to get the bumper wrapped. My husband had purchased the vinyl wrap for our car for other reasons and Skot asked us to use our own material, to help move along the process. Once I received the car, a sensor was going off and the hood slightly misaligned. I called Skot right away to please take a look. Once he looked at it, he fixed the hood and told me he needed to call Tesla to figure out the sensor and it would take several days. Overall, I could tell he really didn't want to help me figure it out. Went back to the vinyl wrap place the following day and they fixed it right away. Once the insurance declined to cover some after market parts, Skot billed us an additional $300+ and asked us to pay over the phone several times. We didn't feel comfortable doing this and told him we would come in to pay. Received a very angry call from him after I didn't show up to pay one day (he had been communicating solely with my husband, not me) and he even threatened a lawsuit as I was trying to tell him why I didn't show up. It was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. As a customer, who had paid the bulk of their bill, he had absolutely no reason to believe that we would not pay. However, I wanted proof that he needed that additional amount. His response was to tell me that he didn't need to provide proof of anything to me. I was incredulous at that comment. I still have not received a receipt documenting the amount he told us to pay after repeatedly asking for documentation. He only ever sent me invoices for the after market parts. I called the parts place he ordered from and they confirmed he could return to shop for a full refund (Skot kept telling me that he would need to pay $350 for return shipping). I even offered to return the part so I wouldn't need to pay, and he declined. The only amount uncovered by my insurance would have been $100 dollars, based on the invoices he sent to me. I offered to come in to pay that amount and he declined. He also decided to keep our vinyl wrap we personally paid for, saying that it was his now. During our last conversation he insinuated to me that he had only received 1.8k of the total amount. I had to have my insurance send the cleared checks showing to prove that he had received the full amount. Obviously, he didn't reply, because he doesn't have a leg to stand on. In summary, this whole issue was caused by an uninsured driver that crashed into me and the experience with Skot made it 1000x worse. Unprofessional, angry, no regard for customer satisfaction, no transparency, and no receipts provided for amounts requested after insurance paid in full. Not sure why he has this many positive reviews other than this Yelp account must have been inherited from an actually good shop owner. You've been warned!!! read more

I went in to their shop on Monday to get a quote. Scott, the owner, told me the part should be delivered in "a couple days" and that he would call me when it came in. After hearing nothing for days, I called and left a message. My call was never returned. I dropped in on Friday, and mentioned that I had left him a voicemail, but no one had called back. He said, "Oh yeah, I was just getting ready to call you in a few." However, he hadn't asked me my name yet! Then, when he mentioned the part should be in next week, I said, "Thats' fine, but if I leave you a message, I expect a call back (basic customer service)." His response was, " Don't tell me how to do my job!' Going to Faith Auto Body where I should have gone in the first place. Had a similar experience as Greg J of Murrieta but mine went like this: A worker took the pictures of a small dent, scratches and should have taken the hanging passenger rear view mirror, the insurance promptly pays them (another beef is why do they get paid without even starting the job) except for the mirror since they did not submit. Scott told me he would order the part since he is sure they will approve it 2/3 days max wait, guess again 8/9 working days later I called them after being told by my insurance that they paid them. I wish I could say it was worth the wait but the workmanship falls way bellow any job in Tijuana, my tire was covered with white residue of paint, you can see where the paint was running down.
