Over all it was good I have had breakfast and lunch there due to me staying in the hotel that is attached to Dennys. The service was good and quick. The breakfast was really good and the burger was really good as well. There isn't much in Tuba city and you can't go wrong with Dennys. I didn't have to wait long. The establishment was clean and well kept. Everyone that works there is super nice.

This Denny's located on the Hopi side of Tuba City has a pueblo facade. The menu is standard Denny's without local flare. It is adjacent to the Moenkopi Inn and is one of the few sit down restaurants in town. Solid food in a nice building

No frills spot. As with any Denny's location, you can guess what's coming to the table based off their standard menu offering plenty of pancake/waffle/omelette options for breakfast. On a sleepy Monday morning, the place was relatively quiet and the waiter worked hard to accommodate me. I ordered a veggie egg-white omelette stuffed with plenty of vegetables including zucchini (which wasn't a great addition), plus side of hash browns. The food tasted good although it was nothing to 'write home' about. This establishment was quite clean. The kitchen was working hard to fill orders and the waitressing staff worked efficiently to seat guests. Across the reservation, this place had the best wi-fi connection, too. Folks may complain about their wi-fi connection but GOOD LUCK trying to get better connection elsewhere on the indian reservation. I would consider coming back here again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE MEGAN! Do better or find a job at the MVD, maybe even the chapter house

If you can't handle all your tables I suggest handing some over to the other server. You should know that your tips reflect on how well the service is, do better.

Had the Gouda Bacon Burger at Dennys for dinner. It was very good and almost more than I could handle with two hands. Cooked the way I requested with a side of steamed brocolli. No complaints at all. Service was also very good. Place was clean. Try to avoid the rush particulary during the tourist season.

Terrible service, waitresses are rude. Shift manager rather defended the waitress and lied to defend the waitress/waiter.

The two ladies in the kitchen were also very very nice. The service was efficient in speed as well. We were able to seat ourselves and they seemed to have no problem with us bringing our small dog in with us (but she was an angel and gave them no reason to kick her out. She just sat quietly on the booth bench next to me.) We got 3 different dishes: 1. the biscuits and gravy combo with scrambled eggs and a slice of bacon. It all tasted delicious, but I wish that for the price there could also be some ground sausage in the gravy. That would have elevated it nicely while still being in an affordable range. 2. Two slices of French toast. The taste of this dish was an absolute home run in every sense of the word. Fresh strawberries and cream cheese between the slices, whipped cream on top, and dusted with sugar and cinnamon. But for two slices, it felt a little over priced at $12. I feel like it was more aligned with a dessert style dish. So if it were either a little cheaper, or if it was a triple slice stack, that would make it so great and more affordable. But damn did it taste good. I didnt even put maple syrup on it. Didnt need it. Like at all. 3. The ham omelette (with bacon also added) which came with home fries. It was worth the extra few bucks to add the bacon, but again it was a little over priced. I would have loved it if the omelette was either a few bucks cheaper, or a bigger size. And with an omelette I think it would have elevated it to even just add a few little fresh chives sprinkled. Both the omelette and the biscuits and gravy came with home fries and holy crap they were good! Kudos there for sure. All in all, we split the 3 dishes between my husband and I and our 3 young boys. And after $40 none of us were full. I think this would be a really great place to have dishes that were "shareable" sized, even if it meant spending a little bit more. Because it was hard to choose just 3 things.

A quick Google search can provide high level insight even though it isn't necessarily consistent across all interactions or people. Initially I thought it was called Hogan because of a family last name but research suggested it is more about the Hogan traditional dwelling. Ambiance and decoration suggests that as well. Beautiful wood and earthy decor. Not overly bearing but rather great balance. People were kind but not overly attentive like I'm used to at American restaurants but again it is more aligned with communication styles and culture. Your experience could be different based on your server just like any other restaurant. Our server was kind, respectful and provided great service. He also would remember guests from different countries who shared sayings in their native languages which he repeated to us as greeting and also goodbyes. It was impressive and well thought which I appreciated. Now onto the food. I enjoyed my mutton stew with fry bread. I am used to more flavorful stews but this stew was cooked very well and delicious. I added a bit of salt and pepper but honestly it was good without it. Mutton was soft and not gamey. Vegetables were well cooked and soft. Fry bread was tasty and freshly fried. It was not overly greasy and excellent to rip and dip into the stew. I actually feel really good after my meal. Overall enjoyed it, again, because I was open and understanding of differences.
