We arrived around 8:30 AM on Sunday and the business volume was moderate but we were seated promptly with a hot cup of joe in front of us within a couple minutes. Our orders were taken quickly and the food arrived within 10-15 minutes of us ordering. The food was hot and fresh and the portions were plentiful. The pancakes and eggs were cooked a little more well done than I usually prefer but were tasty all the same. Our server, Deborah, was very nice and personable. I've been going to Denny's now at this location for the last 25 years. My favorite breakfast is steak and eggs. They offer a sirloin and eggs breakfast which was very good until here recently. I don't know where they're buying their meat but I've had shoe leather that was more tender than what they're serving. I guess it's just a sign of the times. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This Denny's deserves no stars to reflect the complete lack of respect for their customers' bank amount. For example, they double charged us after the computer that charged us first had shut down and couldnt print a receipt. The manager at the time didn't want us to leave until she could produce the receipt, even though we showed proof of payment in our bank app on our debit card. For some reason, she couldn't pull up the receipt on that same computer when it was up and running again. So they held us hostage, insisting that we stay until she could print another copy of the receipt on ANOTHER computer if we could just swipe the card AGAIN. So we did as we were told because we normally trust places with good servers. (Shout out to our great server that night!) Our card was charged again after following instructions! Then we followed through the next day with a different manager hoping to get this resolved and she didn't want to help us either after we presented bank statements and the hardcopy of the receipt. She refused to call corporate with us and just told us that we have to figure it out with our bank. So please don't go here, they will take your money. I walked in and was greeted ant sat right away. The waitress, Angeline, came to the table quickly and took my order. The food came out fast. I ordered the breakfast skillet which came out so piping hot I had to wait to eat it. It had broccoli, potatoes, mushrooms, onions, spinach, green peppers, tomatoes, scrambled egg white and a side of salsa. It was quite good. I had a rather unfortunate experience at this location due to my server Robert Hofmann. My family loves Denny's and we decided to go for a late snack after a day at the arcade. We arrived and were greeted by Robert. I would describe his service as disingenuous. He did his job as a server, but throughout the meal, I felt like I owed him something. For example, after he brought the drinks, I noticed he rudely tossed the straws on the table. The restaurant was pretty empty so he wasn't in a hurry to get anywhere. I didn't say anything, but kept observing. When I placed the order for my family, he said "that's it" in a rather condescending tone. Again, I kept it cordial and continued observing. While we ate, some other customers came in and sat behind us. I listened to how he took their order and was shocked because his tone was very different! As an African-American, I couldn't help but wonder if they were getting treated nicely because they were a white family. At the end of the meal, I went to pay and decided not to tip. I did not feel like Robert wanted to serve me or my family. Why as a customer should I beg for kind or warm customer service? Robert is the one who applied for his position. If he dislikes his job, why do I have to get treated harshly? At this point, I felt uncomfortable and wanted to get on with my night. I paid for my meal, got my receipt, and said thank you. Robert responded sarcastically with a thank you and said "you're not welcome." He then crumpled his copy of the receipt and threw it at the counter as he walked away. I looked at him in horror and immediately went outside to tell my family what just occurred. My mother was appalled and went back inside to speak with a manager. Robert called me a liar and then proceeded to call my mother a bitch! The use of profanity was uncalled for. My entire dining experience felt like a microaggression. I will formally be placing a complaint tomorrow morning with the general manager. read more

I always order a huge breakfast with pancakes and all the fixings but this past easter Sunday we went after church so I decided to get something on the healthier side and not so heavy. I ordered the fit slam it came with scrambled egg whites, turkey bacon, English muffin and a side of fruit. It was better than I expected. I honestly didn't expect much when I ordered it but it was really good and light! My first time finishing something I order at Denny's. My husband ordered a burger and a side of the new blueberry puppies. They were definitely not healthy or light but so good! And they came with a little side of frosting. Being that many of the diners close early in Coral Springs, and have a limited menu, we decided to go to Dennys! Going inside tonight, It's been a while since I've been where, but the restaurant looked super freaking clean! In addition, there was a plethora of social distanced seating too. As for dinner, we ordered 1 lumber jack breakfast meal with over easy eggs, 1 fit egg white breakfast meal (substituted fries for fruit), 1 strawberry crepe breakfast meal, and a southwest skillet with over easy eggs (all for about $50). Moving right into my review, I was very satisfied with both the food AND service tonight. The meals were all piping hot, the eggs cooked exactly the way we requested, and meats were very tender. Not added in my photos, but the Pancakes were Fluffy and pretty damn BIG too. Before I forget, I also wanted to mention our server Maccory tonight as he was very friendly and attentive - way to go! Only thing that I find would've made this night a 5/5 is if the hash browns were as Crispy as the potato from my southwest skillet, and the fries were less salty. I hate to be this way, but I usually don't expect much when I go to a Denny's and truth be told, I'm usually drunk when I'm here. Luckily, I wasn't when I stopped in this location and had probably one of the best Denny's experiences ever. This location is huge. Feel free to bring friends. Or if you're like me, just sit by yourself and enjoy your food while you people watch. The staff is friendly and attentive which is nice because usually they mean and bitter. I mean, very friendly. My cup was never empty and my server came back multiple times to check in with me. The food comes to you quickly and hot. The restaurant is very clean. You cannot fault Denny's for what it is, nor how long it has been successful as a roadside diner across America. While it has tried to reinvent the look and feel, it's still a quick diner for breakfast and a quick warm meal, usually while traveling. Don't think your going to find Lobster Bisque or Surf and Turf (perhaps a play on the later) at this diner. Your going to find breakfast served all day at this once greasy spoon. They do offer some menu expansion around the standard products and usually during holidays (ex. pumpkin spiced pancakes). Food is usually standard American flair with burgers, pancakes, eggs, meatloaf and more. We visit with the kids for a quick breakfast when traveling or perhaps mommy isn't in the mood to cook 4-5 different breakfast flavors. That's what we did this morning. Sunday breakfast was hot, served exactly as ordered, and we all left full at the bargain price of a twenty before tax and tip. The Super Slam breakfast at 5.99 was the main attraction. Soooo, I'm from Georgia and Denny's, in GA, is trash. My friends suggested going here over IHOP and I was not hearing it lol! I was out-voted, clearly. This food is good-good! I wasn't ready. I had my judgment and "I told you so'" speech ready for everyone that went against my choice. I'm no longer mad. They made a good call! I ate all of my food, which is rare. I had French Toast. French toast is pretty basic but it was well made. It had the crunchy, buttery taste even while drowning in syrup. It remained hot while eating it. Sometimes food gets cold before you finish it which makes you not want to finish it, but not this! I also had eggs and bacon. Both cooked perfectly. I'm so picky. They passed all of my test! It isn't glamorous. It's not trendy or cool. What it does have is great hours of operation and more importantly consistency of food. When I go to Denny's it is with the expectation that my order (the same thing I order every time) will be just as belly-warming good as it was the last time. I am never disappointed. The menu changes a lot but the core offerings never do even if the Denny's are on different coasts in the United States - my grand slam slugger will be the same. Today, my eggs were done perfectly over easy. My hash browns were browned, with crunchy bits of savory yum. The sausage was seasoned like good breakfast sausage should be and the bacon wasn't over cooked. The pancakes were fluffy, buttery and golden. I swear I had the best cup of coffee there that I've had in years. My meal was perfect. The service was great. The restaurant isn't spotless. It's a little loud with families and parties of people chatting. You get a good snapshot of America when you go into Denny's and the best part is that everyone is happy, enjoying a good, solid meal, hanging out with friends, family and loved ones or nursing a hangover or relaxing after a long night of work.
