Slightly confused, I asked the waitress if we were in the correct place, and she confirmed that we were. Mystery solved -- same kitchen, different concept. We were seated and ordered the double cheeseburger we came for, and I was genuinely excited to try it. Unfortunately, the first burger arrived with a strand of hair in the melted cheese. That was the only reason for my four-star rating. To their credit, the staff handled the situation promptly and professionally. The burger was immediately remade, and the replacement was fresh and prepared correctly. They also offered a complimentary dessert, which was a thoughtful gesture. While the dessert initially didn't arrive exactly as described (it was missing the ice cream and caramel drizzle), it was quickly corrected once mentioned. We stopped by Denny's for a quick breakfast, and overall the experience was pretty middle-of-the-road. I ordered the French toast with eggs, bacon, and sausage. The French toast was decent--nothing amazing, but it hit the spot and came out warm. The bacon and sausage had good flavor, though the eggs could've used a little more cheese. My wife had the Grand Sandwich, and that one came out on the greasy side. The flavor was okay, but it was hard to get past how heavy and oily it felt, which took away from the overall enjoyment. Service was fine and the food came out in a reasonable time, but it wasn't anything particularly memorable. Not a bad meal, not a great one--just your typical average Denny's stop. This place is in the Tanger outlet parking lot just off I75 near Atlanta in Locust grove. The building is pretty cool as it's an old diner looking place. The service here is not great... they are woefully understaffed. We stopped in for breakfast and there wasn't many customers yet they told us it would be a 30-35 min wait for a table because they only had one server. We were meeting folks there so we just waited. The server was a tad on edge and overwhelmed but did a good job. When the food finally came , it was good. Based on the other reviews , the staffing here is an ongoing problem. Food: Tasteful & yummy delicious going down but, twenty minutes later after leaving & in an outlet shoe store...had me trying to find the closest bathroom ASAP! Rude and lazy people. Also, I also noticed a pungent sour smell when I walked in., Which kind of turned my stomach. Would not recommend it would not go back. I haven't been to Denny's in over a decade. This a pretty good location and close to shopping at the outlet mall. The wait staff is personable, competent and knowledgeable. There seems to be a true desire to make your visit worth your time. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Take a moment and indulge yourself in a quick bite here and enjoy a few minutes of rest before or after shopping. We came and waited about 7 mins before getting seated. There were hiring signs posted making it clear they needed to fill a lot of positions. So the Waitstaff was short-handed and multi-tasking to fill in the gaps. We ordered Country Fried Steak brown gravy and sides. The Country Fried Steak with brown gravy was lukewarm at best. Mashed Potatoes were mostly watered down instant and cold. The prices were ridiculous. I think they charged $3.95 for a ICE TEA? But we had a great waiter, and he was a easy (5/5) We got out of there with tip and all, wasting over $40+. Well. It's been four years since I stopped by this location. I think its improved. My server was once again hostess with the mostest named Tyeshia. After she served myself and the other guests, she continued efficiently sanitizing, and ensuring our safety...yes I'm a fan. A Mr. Curtis expertly prepared my special of eggs and cheddar (Seniors/Over 55 section of Menu) in a timely fashion with requested shelled eggs. I understand being short staffed but for a manager to snatch a plate out of my hand is crazy. To begin with we sat down and ordered food. The food came back cold and incomplete so I asked to get a replacement. After they help with remaking my food it was still cold on the inside. Like straight out the fridge cold. I walked to the counter to speak to the manager they told me it would be a second because it was busy. I requested him immediately because it's not the first time we had an issue during this visit. The manager started swearing at me and snatched the plate of food out of my hand. Worst manager I've had to deal with. Even worse the employee have an attitude towards everyone. Also my mothers food had vegetables that were passed they're date. The avocado was brown. Worst customer service and experience ever. My family and I drove for two hours to the outlets. Before we were going shopping we stop at Denny's to eat. The person who greeted us was our server, she never provided her name. She sat us right towards the back and she went to grab a high chair hit me and did not even acknowledge that she hit me. I didnt think of anything then. When the food came my order was wrong to begin with I requested seasoned fries and they were regular fries. I advised the server and she said I don't cook the food and took my plate. When she comes back she gave me fries out of the refrigerator. They were frozen inside. I called the manager and he came out with an attitude and snatched the plate. I asked him to please feel the fries twice. He then went and got new fries. When I open my sandwich to add my seasoning the food was brown and did not look good. So went back and the servers, yes all the servers stared screaming that we wanted free food. And the manager came and grabbed the plate and snatched it away. At that point I asked for the receipt and they started screaming to get out. This place is woefully understaffed, and they have a sign basically stating they were now hiring for every job they had there. The busboy took our order, and we had to ask for our order repeatedly. I was getting woozy for lack of hunger, which is why we ordered chicken fingers for an appetizer... Other food; hash browns were brunt, pancakes undercooked and it seemed that the fries were cooked in old grease.
