The improved difference in service, attitude and meal quality really stood out. The professionalism, attention to detail, and pleasant repartee provided by Kayla, Ashley, and Natasha made this old coger feel right at home a thousand miles away from home. I ended up choosing the Smokehouse macaroni and cheese dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike the repurposed carbonized castings and sinewy scrapings (often refered to as "burnt offerings" in the old testament) that I have found used in this dish at many a Denny's throughout the land, these tips were actually tender and somewhat pink inside! I stop in at this dennys every 3 to 4 years to remind myself why I don't stop here. The food is usually below average on taste and quality. The service is generally slow and this time when I stopped and ordered the all American slam the waitress said it comes with 3 scrambled eggs and shredded cheese is that fine? I said sure. When I got the bill I was charged for shredded cheese an extra egg and again shredded cheese. Added an extra $5 to a $10 meal. I won't be stopping here again. read more

This place is located on I-10 at Sunshine Blvd, South of Eloy. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere. When we were passing through it wasn't very busy. It seemed like the standard Dennys. Service was fine unlike some of the other reviews. From a convenience standpoint, it was great. It is attached to a convenience store (see photo), gas station, and clean bathrooms. If you need to stop for any reason going South (or North) this is a good place. read more

Biscuits and gravy are horrible. Gravy tastes like flour. Wait staff doesn't bring items asked for. This is located inside a Flying J station that is undergoing total renovation. We just arrived in this area this week and didn't know about too many places for dinner, and this Denny's is nearby and we had a nice lunch here. Wife had a Cobb salad, which was delicious! Husband had a three- patty burger with all the fixings which was equally delicious. Service was friendly and efficient and we would recommend a visit to this Denny's. read more

Even though some of the previous Yelp reviews were / are divisive, I gave our recent meal there 4 stars. Here's the reasons why: 1) Cleanliness: I'm sure social distancing of the tables helped but from what I saw it looked pretty clean around 4pm on a Saturday. The bathroom was a little trashed, but understand it's not part of the restaurant, but the rest stop as a whole. 2) Customer Service: Our server Kelly felt like an active participant in our dining experience. Talkative and friendly without being overbearing, and she kept our and another customer's drinks filled. 3) The Food: We ordered the Fried Fish and the Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger platters. The fish, dirty rice, broccoli and the bread were your standard "hot off the press" good-to-eat; as was the cheeseburger meal. Crisp and juicy! Overall, it was a very good experience. A nice sit down meal, and we were on our way. They had WIFI and we used the military discount. A decent stopover we might venture to again in the near future. Recommended! read more

First I want to apologize for bothering the staff and cooks on their day off. Stopped in for breakfast and on reflection the empty parking lot should have been a clue. OMG! Been here many times and it is always hit or miss! Service was horrible! Waited forever and finally what looked like a dish washer asked if we had been helped yet. Told her no and neither has those three tables! She took our order. Several "waitresses" were meandering around bussing tables instead of taking orders. A waitress left a plate of food on our table and went to help another table, when she came back by we told her that wasn't ours. She took food into kitchen and came back out and gave it to the right table. They brought food to another table that wasn't theirs either. A different waitress brought our order. Gravy was water thin on a good chicken fry, hash browns were extra crispy! brought me a ketchup bottle that was empty! At least the water was good! read more

2.5 stars is more accurate. It's a truck stop In the desert scrub of central Arizona so expectations aren't high anyway. Even on a Sunday morning there were almost no customers and there was only one waitress serving all the tables. French toast turned out to be just toast. Otherwise the food was ok. I like stopping at Denny's to use the Wi-Fi to look at weather and road conditions ahead. In order to use the Wi-Fi here you have to give up a name, an email address, and a real phone number.
