Let me start by saying that I am 59 years old and have dealt with many automotive repair places over the years. The trick is to find a place which is honest, offers excellent customer service, and that puts your needs ahead of everything else. A place that respects your wallet and isn't out to empty it for you. Dennis' Automotive is the place I was looking for. A while back while visiting Bill's Sunoco ( another excellent place in Orleans), I asked where I could have my late model, Ford F-150 serviced. They told me to go see Dennis at Dennis' Automotive, and that he was THE F-150 guy in the area. Well, let me just say that I am so glad that I did! My search for an honest, customer service oriented, straightforward, auto mechanic has finally ended. Dennis' Automotive is simply the best garage I've ever dealt with. I am from Chicago where most companies focus on the almighty buck. I was blown away by the level of caring, respect and service that Dennis and his capable team provide, each and every time I return for help. His team includes two very nice young men named Alex and Brennan, who continue Dennis' commitment to customer service and quality. From simple, quick, no charge assistance with little issues, to round trip transportation back to my home when I didn't have a second vehicle, this place understands putting the customer first. Recently, I had a tire on the truck with a bad valve stem. I couldn't inflate or deflate the tire. A certain tire repair place in Orleans which for purposes of decency will not be mentioned by name (but is right on 6A next to Jomammas coffee shop), told me I needed a whole new valve stem AND sensor and that it would be $100. Oh, and that they don't take appointments and it would be a four hour wait, concluding with, "that's summer on the Cape for you". Well, I figured maybe Dennis and his guys could help me out (yet again) and it made sense to get a second opinion to not only save cost but 1/2 a day of my vacation as well. So I drove up (without an appointment) Dennis dropped what he was doing, took one look at the tire, returned from his tool box a moment later with a tire valve core, popped it into place in less than two minutes, and refused to take any sort of payment for his time or the part. Now THAT'S customer service! Finally, I have found an automotive place that does excellent work, emphasizes customer service, doesn't make me feel like a number, and won't take me to the cleaners. Trust me, if you're looking for an honest mechanic who knows his stuff, let the guys at Dennis' Automotive help you out. read more
