From those first correspondences to this day...and over the course of literally dozens of emails, phone calls, and regular check-ins, Paulette has made every effort to answer all of our questions and help make this transition from Colorado to Florida an easy effortless endeavor. And this wasn't easy being so far away, during the height of this CoVid pandemic, and doing it all at-a-distance, and without the benefit of being there in person. But she was our "feet on the ground" and monitored our progress as we narrowed our focus and finally chose our perfect home as she continued to help us maneuver through the MANY obstacles and challenges doing all this from another state entailed. Not only that but she helped us even AFTER we closed on our home, offering to periodically check-in on our home until we arrived, arranging for painters and contractors to put in security equipment and to work at the house in our absence and making sure every aspect of our closing went perfectly without a glitch. In a word she has been spectacular. Her genuine caring, concerned and determined efforts to keep the process flowing smoothly, and all the extra effort she put forth has been unprecedented and so graciously appreciated in making this a truly easy transition. I had a deeply frustrating experience with Dennis Property Rentals and would not recommend them to anyone. The leasing agents exhibited poor customer service from the start, showing a lack of professionalism and empathy when addressing my concerns about their rental property. The rental property I was shown was poorly prepared--dirty, with maintenance issues that had clearly been ignored. The property managers were consistently cold and unhelpful whenever I encountered issues, making it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them. Kathy Best was instrumental in locating and helping my wife and I find and close on the perfect home for our retirement. We had been away from Florida in the military and national defense industry for many years, and wanted a retirement home to enjoy for the rest of our lives. Communication from my assigned property manager was delayed, defensive, and often lacked basic clarity around important logistics like move-out timelines and key return. Even more concerning, I was mistakenly emailed a lease intended for a different property owner -- a clear breach of confidentiality. I waited until the lease was fully resolved before writing this review, but unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and responsiveness persisted throughout.
