I also repeatedly asked whether claims had been submitted and was told they had been. When I contacted one of my insurance companies, however, a representative told me that no claim had been received from the practice. It appeared that one insurance plan had been billed while the other had not. I paid the balance requested without hesitation because I trusted the practice and its expertise. My concern is not that dental care costs money; my concern is the lack of clear and consistent answers about the total charges, which insurance plans were being billed, what each plan covered, and how my balance was calculated. My calls were not always returned, and the responses I received often felt incomplete. Transparency is extremely important when patients are making costly healthcare decisions. We pay for insurance, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket expenses, so reducing our costs matters to us just as reimbursement matters to a provider. If a practice participates in an insurance network, patients should be given clear information about how those benefits are being used. Morris Park Dental may still be a convenient option for people seeking several services in one place, and the staff members I encountered were pleasant. However, patients should read every document carefully, request an itemized treatment plan and billing statement, verify all claims directly with their insurance companies, and get financial explanations in writing before paying or proceeding. As the saying goes, "All that glitters is not gold." Ask questions and independently confirm the answers.

I am being sent texts every other day sometimes twice a day with a reminder that my appointment is coming up and if I don't respond back saying I would be there. I would be charged $100 after I say yes I would be there via text. The texts continue with the same thing following day and reminding me of my copay to which I already know about which is very annoying all the days and numerous texts I received about this appointment even on day of few hours before. At this point I am annoyed with all these texts that I received the whole week before my appointment. Then when I get there I get my X ray, teeth cleaned which they do good with. The problem is the Doctor Edly he has me sitting and waiting for him to check in my mouth to make sure everything is OK gums, teeth etc along with looking at my Xray. I've sat in the chair for over half and hour after I'm done with my cleaning to check my teeth and he sends his other workers to stall and tell me he is coming over soon and soon becomes never. After tge half hour is up he sends his workers to tell me he is working on someone else's mouth and can't come over and that everything is fine with my teeth without ever coming over to look at my teeth/gums. He has done this many times to me already. I can't remember the last time ive seen this Dentist in person throughout the years. Mind you me he's in the next room and refused to come and seems to make himself busy everytime I come in. So they text and call me all week long to come in but then when I'm there does not complete my dental visit. This is very unprofessional and I've never been treated like this before by any other dentist before in past. It's bad enough I already feel queasy when going there because it looks and feels like a former funeral parlor there. But I must say that even a mortician at a funeral parlor would treat me much better than I've been treated by this Dr at this Dentist office. My mother & I were first, however another person came about 9:45 & his appointment was at 9:30. I heard a woman who came in say her appointment was also at 10 & there is only one dentist at this office to my knowledge, so they double book appointments, which I'm not really a fan of. My mother also informed me that if you cancel your appointment within 24hrs there is a $100 charge, which I'm not a fan of that either. With life happening in this new world we live in with Covid existing, I just feel some grace should be given. I won't be coming here for services for those reasons.
