Everyone I spoke when I was looking for a tractor had nothing but good to say about LS tractors so I did some research as to what model would best suit my needs (which were many) and headed up to lane Tractors in Los Molinos. It was about an hours drive, but as it turns out, it was time well spent. I have worked as a salesman and a sales manager and know good customer service when I receive it. The folks there were knowledgeable, and when there was a question the salesperson were not sure of they asked someone else to help out. A good salesperson is not afraid to say "I don't know. Let me check to be sure.." Right off I told them I was not ready to buy the first day I was there but there was no hard sell and they still took the time to assist, offer suggestions, and do a bit of research to find the exact accessories I was looking for. They wrote up the 'estimate' and I went home and spent a week going through specs, going over the bank account, and making sure it was the right decision. I called about five days later, made an appointment to be sure they would be there to help me, and they were ready when I walked in and we closed the deal. They delivered on the day promised (free delivery within a specified distance). It arrived just in time as a few days later a contractor digging our footings cut a water pipe which I was able to find using the backhoe and repair in a timely manner! Now, all was not perfect. Another sign of great customer service is how a company responds to a problem after the sale. There was one implement that got left off the truck, but they brought it the next day even though I said that there was no rush. I called once or twice when I thought had a problem with the tractor and Mike Lane called and talked me through it (it was my problem, not the tractor's). They even sent me some parts, free of charge, to rectify a problem with an implement I purchased through Lane (but not an LS product) that had a manufacturing defect which they had ordered from a third-party supplier. So yes, I recommend LS tractors, and ever more so, Lane Tractor Sales in Los Molinos.

Got to the bathroom upstairs and...well...no one was there. That was odd. I went outside to see if the sprinklers were on and they were so, i turned them off. Problem solved. Went back to bed but the noise was still there. That noise you hear when showers, sprinklers, toilets, and anything else that has water through it, is on. It was getting louder. Went back into my bathroom only to see water filling up on the floor! Uh oh. Found the problem. Busted pipe under the floor. Turned off the main line and went to bed, hoping i could find a plumber the next day. Called a couple of plumbers and left messages. Bulldawg had voicemail and gave me the option of texting. I texted and left a message. Texted me right back. Asked me a couple of qualifying questions and said he'd be there at 2:00 that same day. Was right on time. Saw immediately what the problem was. Was professional. Was thorough. Was efficient and was fair. Also didn't mind my dogs in the house! (I think they are dog friendly plumbers!) If you've got something broken and need it fixed, call them if you want it done right, on time and on budget.
