I had a new RV toilet with me so I went to Grayland True Value. I told the guy my predicament. He grabbed the size I needed, went to my car and made sure it fit. Got a shark bite connection with a shutoff valve. Went and installed the toilet. Everything worked out great. Saved by Grayland True Values excellent customer service. The price was more than fair. No price gouging for sure ! Courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and fair. Next time I'll go straight there and skip Home Depot.

We've come here for everything from RV toilet paper to stone blocks to build a fire pit and anything in between. We've always found what we needed here, I'm pretty sure they have at least one of everything in stock. The staff is always super friendly and very helpful. Usually you can walk in the door, ask where to find something and they know exactly where it is, down to the shelf and what is on that shelf next to it. Great people, great store, highly recommend.

I was told the wood I was purchasing was quality wood. That the knots wouldn't be larger than 1 1/2 inches and no knot holes. Probably 30% of the wood had large knots, knot holes, and a lot of split and damaged pieces. We managed to cut around and make all of the boards work except 2 boards. When I went to return the two boards and get a few extra I was "helped" by the rudest person I've probably ever had to deal with. From the moment I walked up to the counter he acted like I was disturbing him. He came out to the pile of boards, pointed at the ones I needed to choose from and then as he walked away said "try not to make a mess!" I have made many purchases from city lumber since I bought my home 10 years ago. I believe I have spent enough here to not be treated like a child. I don't know how this business keeps customers if this is how they treat everyone. I will drive to Portland to buy lumber before I will give this place my business again. City Lumber just lost a customer.

Having the dishwasher already hooked up they left it until the replacement could get delivered, well that date got canceled and rescheduled without a call for my day off. Called to let them know that day didn't work out, the man who obviously hates his job told me to leave it outside for pickup not even a different day. I called corporate which was just as helpful. Decided to go to J&S appliance and got treated wonderfully and saved money and stress. Will never patronize Home Depot again, even canceled my credit card I think, that was another horrible experience. Boycott these big box stores and support your local community.
