Staff was courteous and I didn't have to wait to get my eyes checked. Dr. Levinson is very knowledgeable and explained things (the retina pictures) that no other optometrist I've seen explained to me before. He listened to my concerns regarding my previous prescription and tried to offer solution or just helped me accept the fact that my eyes are old haha. They have a good selection of eye glasses. Not as much as chain like LensCrafters but I had no problem picking what I liked. They staff help me understand what my insurance cover and also filled out all the paperwork and make sure I have the receipt I need to get a $50 rebate from VSP. She didn't have to as I didn't even know there was a rebate. Glasses were ready in less than 2 weeks and I've never paid so little for my glasses.

Please save yourself the effort and go anywhere but here. I went for my first appointment to get my eyes checked for contacts and the reception staff was immediately ill mannered and unpleasant. (There is no wall and we patients can hear them talking about other customers). After months of trial contacts that did not work for me, I went back for a recheck on 12/2. I specifically called to make the recheck appointment and confirm that there would be no extra charge, since nothing they were having me try was working. I explained that I was being given trial contacts for months and having trouble with my contact fitting. I was explicitly told I would not be charged. Well I went back for my recheck and was charged $147 since "the contact specialist is seperate". I told them i had been confirmed for no payment over the phone since I explained my issue was WITH MY CONTACTS and was never told that the contact specialist was a seperate charge. After some back and forth the dark haired receptionist cut me off and said "well do whatever you want we'll just send you the bill". She eventually agreed with me that I "shouldn't have been told that over the phone" but that they were going to charge me anyways. I still have not gotten the correct contact lenses from them. The contact specialist who was trying to fit me with contacts told me what she gave me was probably the best im going to get, even though i told her the contacts were blurry and giving me headaches. I had her write down a note for me of what pair of trial contacts I had in my eyes and which she was ordering for me prior to leaving the appointment. When i didn't recieve these notes (that i watched the contact specialist photocopy for me and leave for the receptionist) I asked the blonde receptionist, who was immediately rude. She told me to sit down and wait for the specialist to be done with her next patient to get the sheet of paper she photo copied for me. I told her that was unacceptable because I could literally see them on the counter and pointed to them. After some more unnecessary back and forth and an eye roll, she finally handed me the sheet of paper she was about to make me wait 30 minutes for. I was told I would recieve a call to come pickup my trial contacts in 1-2 days. Three days go by with no call, so i called the office and Chris the contact specialist said the contacts were "not there" and she "wasn't sure where they went" so she said she would order them for me to pick up the following Monday. When Tuesday rolled around, still with no call, I called the office and was sent to voicemail with an eventual call back later that day. Save yourself the time, money and frustration and go elsewhere to get you eyes checked.

I have been to the office multiple times and often find myself thinking that this is the model of how a doctor's office should be run. My first time there I had a minor eye emergency. It was almost 5:00 PM. I called a few spots and no one would take me because it was too late. Dr. Radtke and her staff stayed late specifically to make sure I was treated that day. If she hadn't I probably would have been in the emergency room all night. For prompt, thorough, and courteous treatment look no further.

They each in turn introduced themselves and informed me as to what their role is and what today's exam would entail. I made my way from reception, to the eye exams, to the doctor, then to the optician for the choice of lenses and frames. There was a lot of information to absorb. I had a tonne of questions. Every question was answered professionally, and without feeling judged or rushed. They were very patient and very kindly explained everything in detail. Who knew there were so many options! I saw Dr.Patel, very nice doctor. Overall great experience.

While wait times for getting an appointment at Greenspan has gotten longer the past two years (likely due to COVID) the service remains excellent. Recently, I needed an exam and had to get new contacts and new glasses. Would I have liked to have paid less, of course, but my insurance is what it is. I never feel rushed during my appointments here and they also have an excellent selection of lenses. Totally recommend Greenspan for your eyecare needs.
