What can I say???? We had an amazing evening with Chef Dennis and our friends. There were 4 of us. Our menu consisted of two appetizers (Jerk Pawns and Asparagus wraps). The Prawns were seasoned to perfection with hand ground herbs and spices. Even the guys ate the asparagus due to the flaky wrap and Gruyère cheese. The homemade blue cheese dressing on our wedge salads was amazing (yes I got extra). Finally, the ribs and chicken were so tasty. I also have some homemade BBQ sauce in my refrigerator. A very good experience and the quality of his ingredients surpassed some nice restaurants we have been to recently. When Dennis left my kitchen did not look like a gourmet meal had been prepared there. If you are looking for something special give this a try. read more

Dennis and his wife, Theresa, cooked for my parents' 25th anniversary dinner. No restaurants were open because of the pandemic restrictions so this was a great alternative. They were so accommodating with it only being a few days away. They were so comfortable in the kitchen that it relaxed even me! My sister is vegetarian and they planned a menu that made everyone happy. We started with an amazing bruschetta before we sat down and then enjoyed a mushroom risotto even prepared with vegetarian stock for my sister. After the risotto we had a wonderful grilled wedge salad. Our main dish was filet mignon for those of us that ate meat and a stuffed portobello mushroom for my sister and we all enjoyed garlic mashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts. I 1st met Chef Dennis and his lovely wife Theresa downtown at our local farmer's market. They were passing around sample bites of deliciousness while handing out business cards. My husband was tossing around having a dinner party consisting of some wild game that his hunting friends had acquired. Since I had no idea how to prepare such meats, and we had recently moved into a new house I thought this might be the perfect opportunity. Our Friend agreed to the use of her beautiful yard and kitchen. I asked Chef Dennis if he was up for the challenge of preparing these meats with some yummy starches and veggies. Some of our friends were a little apprehensive, but all liked the idea of doing something totally different! Theresa stayed in contact during the entire planning of this party with both our friend Lea, and Mark and I. While our party's theme was hunting, camoflauge casual- Dennis, Theresa and their daughter Olivia made this a 5 star occasion! We didn't have to worry about clean up, or serving. To top off a weekend of fun for our 20th wedding anniversary I arranged for Chef Dennis to prepared a meal for our family in our home. It was truly perfect. I explained to his wife Theresa the dinner was a surprise and she was all in. She worked with me on the timing to have the food brought to our house and plated before we got home (our young adult children were there). When I say it was perfect, it was perfect. When we walked in and saw everything it was like our home had been transformed into a 5 star restaurant. The plating was artistic and beautiful. I recently had shoulder surgery and a wonderful friend of mine hired him to cook my family and I two dinners for the week. What can I say but 'AMAZING '. The first dinner was a vegetarian lasagna with a tasty homemade sauce. You know he's a master when you get my kids to eat all those veggies and there's no leftover! The second dinner was filet mignon and needless to say the family quickly devoured that. Everything was packed and wrapped properly and provided easy serving and clean up. He brought the food into the kitchen for me and gave clear instructions on further heating if required. My family recently celebrated an important birthday at our home. I would normally take on the cooking responsibilities myself, but it was my birthday, and I wanted to enjoy the party. I worried that the cooking for over 40 guests would be an exacting and time consuming task -- until I had the brilliant idea to hire Dennis and his wife Theresa to do the cooking and serving for us. It was a stroke of genius, if I do say so myself. We talked on the phone ahead of time to coordinate the menu. Dennis was open to my suggestions and contributed his own, based on years of experience and a very professional and practical approach. He and his wife arrived in plenty of time to set up. They moved into our kitchen effortlessly, and by the time guests arrived, everything was ready and beautifully presented. Somehow they seemed to know what to do before it needed doing. The food was excellent, some of it selected from their standard options and other items chosen specifically to capitalize on local and in-season produce. It worked so well that I will most certainly use Dennis and Theresa again when we have a large gathering. I recommend them most highly. read more
