Also why would u increase med if it's only 4 pts over on cholesterol? And I don't know the total cholesterol that drastic ? Still don't knew what all my blood work is or what was drawn . At the time I was married so my son and former wife were also patients, again no issue there. For the longest time, I could always count on visiting and getting my reported issues looked into and resolved. Fast forward to early May 2020 after going through a bad divorce and went to the Dr and asked for help with alcohol cravings and possible seeing a therapist. I was prescribed meds for the cravings and schedule an appointment with an associate of his firm that was a therapist. Well things were going well for about 5 or 6 sessions when suddenly, the therapist canceled without notice, now mind you if you do that they will charge you! The issue was "MONEY" what else yeah! I have insurance and they Dr's office had been billing it and were paid however, to the Dr's billing "dept" they filled with the wrong CODES and apparently did not file on time afterwards and my insurance denied their claim! So now the nightmare! I called several time the Dr's office, visited the office to try to fix the issue to no avail. Reached out to my insurance co, got the codes that were needed, called the Dr's office gave them the information, but STILL no resolution. It is August 2022 and the Dr's office has been relentless attempting to collect from me after their own failure to follow their own procedures! Do yourself a favor and find another place to do business!

They may ask if they can send a "couple" of labs but they have the choice to send 20, 30, or as many labs as they want no matter how much they cost and YOU WILL pay for it! I don't understand how they get away with this!!! It's none of your business how many labs they're going to request or how much they cost! It's only your business to pay for it even without a statement explaining what you're even paying for!!! This is by far the worst, most crooked medical facility, I've ever been to in my life!!!

I moved states so I went in trying to establish care and communicate my on going issues since I can no longer be seen by my previous specialists. Within minutes of being seen, she was immediately very rude to me and dismissive of all of my concerns, (the ones I could even get out before she interrupted me.) Red flag number one. I was very confused as I was a first time patient and I had never met her before and she had no idea the reason of my visit. She constantly interrupted me when I was trying to communicate my feelings and my concerns to her throughout my entire visit. It was a constant battle to get a word in and even when I did, I was inevitably interrupted. Once I finally stood up for myself and finally got to finish my list of concerns I had, she dismissed almost everything once again. Stating "it's all mental" and another time stating that maybe the reason I've had to go to so many doctors was because I "was the problem." She made other comments as well that I can't write here publicly due to my privacy. The whole appointment just felt like one giant argument for no reason. I left crying my eyes out from frustration and called my husband to tell him my experience. I basically paid my copay be belittled and left at square one. I will have to now go somewhere else, pay another copay and start all over. This is all my own personal experience I had, so make your own choices. But I strongly advise others to avoid this practice. I have never felt so unsafe and awful leaving a doctors office.

The office staff seems committed to offering the best customer experience. I can tell they succeed at that. No issue with them. My concern relates to time spent as a new patient. I spent 25' max. with Dr. Alana Villada. I spent 25' in a direct personal exchange between me, the patient, and the said Dr. I received a bill of $308.10. I checked with my insurance. I was billed under code 99204 (New patient office visit, 45-59 minutes). I reached out to the billing team and they sent me back to the office manager. The office manager stated that any work conducted by the Physician via the portal (like uploading and posting a comment about a lab result) can be minutes aggregated to the initial visit face-to-face. I am in disagreement since I interacted with the doctor only 25'. Any work done after the face-to-face visit culminated (asynchronously, not demanding a patient's response or physical examination, online, etc.) cannot be considered an in-person visit with a licensed professional or be billed under the same care or service provided. Anyway, my husband finally said why don't you try somewhere else after they said I had another cavity. I didn't get it filled and found a new dentist. Well, I've seen the new dentist two times and have had absolutely no work needed. Take that as you will. I have two stars because the front desk was efficient.
