Front receptionists and medical staff (including the lab folks upstairs) are always polite and (generally) efficient. I've never had to wait long in the waiting room for my appointments, with one exception, when I waited for 45 minutes for a speciality appointment and was finally ushered into the example room without apology or noting my long wait (that doctor is no longer there). Their facility at Northgate is nothing fancy, but it's comfortable. Parking is easy and free On the downside, my last request for a dermatology appointment was refused, as they had no available appointments for months. I went to Polyclinic at Northgate instead, and got an appointment for the next day.

I was dismissed by her with out a care. didn't want to order a urine test to check because she said everyone would flag for one. She guessed what was going on and told me to do nothing. I went with my gut feeling I got that second opinion immediately the provider was very me sent me to a just to make sure everything was going me the correct blood test for each concern that I had and he was very concerned that she did not order these things as well. so fast forward I have a huge kidney stone and multiple kidney stones and also my kidney is very swollen and also has a spot on it that they are making sure that it's not cancerous. This was not an easy pill to swallow and I'm very upset Dr. Greenly didn't take these steps in the first place. your health should be in the care of your providers not a guessing game of what they think it is. order the test for your patients.

An absolute nightmare. I strongly advise anyone against using Dr Bovee. She is just terrible…read more I went to community health today to get a referral to an orthopedic surgeon and a refill on pain meds for my ankle which has collapsed and needs surgery. The provider prescribed me 30 pills to get me thru the following days until I met with a specialist. 1-2 pills every 2-4 hours as needed. This was on a Friday. The provider said she's electronically send the prescription to my pharmacy and it would be waiting for me. When I called the pharmacy to make sure my order was there they said they'd never received it. I called the community health office and they we closed but the switchboard operator said they had an on call doc they could transfer me to. That was Dr Bovee. I explained my situation to Dr Bovee and she was able to locate my file from my appointment and see that my prescription had slipped thru the cracks due to their new system. Dr Bovee told me that she was only going to approve half of my prescription without reason. I told her that is unacceptable because that wouldn't be enough medicine to get thru the weekend and I'd have to visit and ER or an urgent care clinic to get refilled. I wanted the full prescription, duh. Going to and from doctors appointments is a massive hassle because I can't walk. Dr Bovee told me that half my prescription was plenty, she hadn't asked a single question about my condition. I told her that the pain was F-ing excruciating and I didn't want to get stuck without anything to manage the pain. She told me that she was making a note in my file that I used the F word and that she is no longer authorizing my prescription and if I wanted it I would have to go to the ER. You cannot make this up. This doctor decided that since I used the F word to describe excruciating pain that i was no longer entitled to any pain meds. I had an in person appointment a few hours earlier with a doc who deemed it necessary for me to have a prescription to manage the pain. Community health dropped the ball by not getting my prescription to the pharmacy. Oh well, mistakes happen. Dr Bovee took it upon herself to deny me meds that we're prescribed a few hours earlier by someone else because she didn't like that I used the F word. I thought doctors were supposed to help people. This lady is an absolute joke and I'll be talking to the Washington state medical board on Monday.

RE: Emily Hilderman DNP, ARNP - Practicing Primary Care - I…read morestarted seeing Emily Hilderman in 2018 at the Northgate UW Neighborhood Clinic. Parking is plentiful and free. I am greeted with a smart & helpful staff who help me with check-in and direct me to a clean and comfortable exam room. I had numerous medical conditions back then but Emily Hilderman was not put off at all; in fact, she patiently listened to me and gave me powerful feedback on what 'our game plan' would be. She speaks intelligently and astutely about my conditions. I want to emphasize her competence; her ability to understand & diagnose very quickly which is key in expediting healing. Emily's rational guidance has helped put me back on the road to health. Emily Hilderman has made a huge difference in my life. She is an incredible resource for our Community members healthcare and a wonderful asset with UW Medicine Primary Care at Northgate.

He also said that because I was 10 minutes late, he cannot do a full wellness exam and whether I want to do a partial exam or rebook. I agreed to a partial exam and I said that want to get annual blood works and vaccines. Dr Mo seemed like he's doing a favor and not very caring. Vaccines and blood works done, but I got a medical bill for payment a month after although preventative care is covered 100%. Called in to follow up and realized dr Mo has put the insurance code as office visit and thus the payment. Few back and forth with the office and billing and they were not able to fix the insurance code that dr Mo had mistakenly put in :(

Over those many years I…read morehave had the privilege of working with several outstanding primary care physicians, and the care I've received has consistently been excellent. When my longtime PCP left Kaiser several months ago, I wondered whether I would be able to find another doctor with the same level of dedication and mutual respect that I value in a physician-patient relationship. Today I met Dr. Martin Levine and came away very impressed. He is an exceptional listener and was fully present during our visit. His questions about my medical history and current health were thoughtful and specific rather than routine or generic. What impressed me most was the thoughtfulness of his clinical judgment--his questions clearly reflected a careful effort to understand the full picture of my health. His manner was relaxed, professional, and genuinely caring, and I left the appointment feeling confident that my health is in very capable hands. I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Levine and am very pleased to call him my primary care physician.

Since I fractured the right kneecap two years ago in a previous fall, I wanted to get X-rays at Northgate. The appointing person told me that KP had recently banned walk-in X-rays and now required one have an in-person appointment with a doc to see if the patient is worthy of getting X-rays. The new rule is that walk-ins are banned from getting X-rays. A patient has to make an appointment to see a doctor BEFORE X-rays. This makes no sense at all. In the past, my doctor would order X-rays and meet with me later to discuss the results. This is totally backwards. KP also recently banned patients from being able to reply to a doctor's message on My Chart. KP keeps coming up with new ways to keep patients away from practioners, in order to increase revenue flowing to its obscenely-overpaid KP CEO, Gregory Adams. I like my doctors a lot but I don't like spending hours per week fighting with the mindless KP bureaucracy to get care. It's exhausting, particularly whe one is 75 and dealing with multiple health issues.
